New Logo Design Entries

Come on.......there's only 2 days left to post entries....I can't wait to see them!
 
Not sure where everyone is, but here's mine! Happy-go-lucky Chaz (as Karl described him) in a simple, fun logo.

^ that's a transparent PNG file, I have a high-res one ready too. You can't see it in the white post boxes, but a slightly darker background like the current logo is on above, there's a nice white outline to make the logo pop, like so:

ETA: Just noticed the little spot in his left (our right) shoulder that's sticking out. I'll edit that for the final. Also, if we want to replace "dog forum" with other text, or omit "dog forum" altogether, it's all doable.

I've been trying to come up with something, but everything I've done so far looks like butt. :o
 
Thanks guys <3 But c'mon! One more day - let's see more submissions! I think houlahoops submitted one? Anyone else?
 
It's on my to do list but I dunno if I'm gonna get to it... my idea was about like Allie's anyway, except less good, haha. XD

Okay... well... I got frustrated (again) with the piece I've been trying to make, and slapped this together while I took a break from intense art-ing.
(In case you're wondering, no, it does not have any nice white borders that will make it pop. lol)

Still hoping I can pull myself together and make a real submission before the deadline. In the meantime, I just wanted to post... something... :o

I can change font/font color if need be, and the "slogan" at the bottom is optional. The actual file is actually bigger than this, too. (I couldn't get Photobucket to upload it any larger than this. Boo.)

This time, I did steal Allie's white-border idea for the main text. :o Hope that's okay!

Fine by me! The white makes it pop. I just hate that white box-logo the forum has right now. XD Makes my inner design nerd twitch.
 
Great entries! Wish I had a small bit of the artistic talent all of you have.
