My Parents are arriving tomorrow and i'm already excited!!!!!!!! I feel like a kid again. It's been a few months since I saw them last. When I was in the UK I used to see them loads. My dad's 79 so I really value time I get with him (without being morbid), because you just never know what is around the corner. I can't wait to see if Misha remembers them. She saw them only a few weeks after we got her, loved my Mom, but was scared of my dad. I think they will be surprised how much she has grown.

The downside is I doubt I'll be on here much for the next 10 days, so will miss all your comments, stories, tears and laughter. :( But I'll have loads to catch up on when I do come on! :D

Thanks!!! I can't wait to get to the airport tomorrow. It's the one time I like being at an airport - when you are waiting for someone special to arrive.

LOL! I know, I hate being the one who has to go (well, most of the time anyway), but I love being the person who is picking up someone. I love when my husband's parents come into town and we go to pick them up. They should be coming in sometime soon.

Maybe you can get your parents interested in communicating via the internet (if they don't already)!
We gave my dad our old pc before we left the UK. He uses it to run a flight simulator - he used to fly microlites and he sits there with his headphones on landing e-planes. :) I did try and get him into the whole internet thing, I was going round giving him lessons but he kept getting hit with viruses. Now being this far away it is just too dificult to sort it out :( At least we have the good old phone!

Oh I would be excited too! I'm in exactly the same situation, I used to live just round the corner from my parents and used to see my mum every day. I last saw them over christmas and New years and I probably won't see them till July now!
Have fun!! :D

Have a wonderful time Martine! I can relate, my sister lives a ways from me and I only get to see her once or twice a year. I cherish our times together.
