Hello I'm new here and just wanted to share my two mutts! These two are parents of 9 puppies(accident litter) but all are going to great homes, lots of acres to play and run and have fun, possibly keeping one of her pups so we can always have a peice of misty and mason with us when they both pass away.

Oh and the breeds we know that is in her for sure, is Boxer and Pitbull, the father was either shepherd/doberman/ or rottweiler.

Misty

When we got her and a few weeks afterwards.

Before winter of this year.

Most recent, before giving birth.

Misty and our other dog Mason.

My next post will be with mason.

Puppy butts.

And the reason she has a diper on is she is bleeding some still. discharge and or in heat again, so we have this on her and the puppy's still are able to feed. These pups are just a few of the whole litter, i wanted to pick out the ones that looked the slimest and let them eat for awhile.

Daddy has lost his mind

Cute couple.

No need for sarcasm, in the beginning of my post I said they were an accident litter. So go roll your eyes on another topic or forum, I came here to find understanding and mature adults, guess you find them on all forums eh?

Not backyard moderating here but read the rules. Like number ; 1,2, & 6. I like the yay puppies, but the rolling of the eyes is just wanting to start trouble, which I did not ask to be rolled eyed at and these puppies maybe mutts, but all dogs that are pure breed are breed from two different breeds.

Each and everyone of our dogs that we have, cherrish, love, and some cannot live without, came from mutts, came from accident litters.

So please enough immatureness and ruining my wonderful dogs and their wonderful children topic. :)

Please spay and neuter your dogs. You obviously cannot be responsible enough to keep them apart and stop them from having puppies. You may say that you came here for mature adults, but nobody here stands for people who keep 2 intact dogs of opposite sex, and alllows them to breed. There are tons of puppies in the shelter. Especially dogs that have 5 or 6 breeds in them.

Regardless, the parents are really cute :)

ETA: Amber is a mature adult. She also has 3 female dogs who have never been allowed to breed under her watch.

^^What Jess said

Indeed. And I've got an intact male and female here that have not been allowed to breed. They're both purebred GSDs, but weren't meant for breeding to each other, and I keep them properly separated when my girl is in heat.

We're not the forum to come to if you just want "Yay puppies!" responses. If you're looking for people to do that and say nothing else, this probably isn't the place to look.

Definition of a forum:
"a meeting or assembly for the open discussion of subjects of public interest; a public meeting place for open discussion; a medium for open discussion"

On a forum people WILL put in their own opinion on subjects, it's just how forums work. So if you're not prepared for people that do not agree with you, forums in general may not be the best place to hang out.

Just want to address that, I know some wonderful pets come from oops litters. Hell two of MY dogs came about from other people being irresponsible and allowing their females to have accidental litters. I love them with all my heart, but I still won't congratulate you on allowing your dogs to breed.

And a minor pet peeve of mine, your dogs do not have children. They had puppies.

She also has 3 female dogs who have never been allowed to breed under her watch.
Indeed I do, not only do I have three female dogs but they share our home with two intact males. It's a simple matter of keeping them separated.

While the puppies are (as all pups tend to be) adorable, keeping intact dogs requires responsibility. While accidents can happen (a family member could, I suppose, allow dogs together, a dog could break through a crate or satan's minions could open a door), in some cases it's a lack of proper supervision.

And yes, dogs have puppies, not children. And the two dogs are not a couple.

I hope that in the future proper supervision is given or that one of the dogs is either spayed or neutered. They are, I am sure, wonderful dogs and great pets. But, they don't need to be producing more dogs.

For the record, someone coming here with an accidental litter of purebreds would get the same response.

I'm not here to argue with anyone, I've stated they were accidental and i get mocked. If you don't know someones story, then why even go there?

Anyways can we stop now before my dog thread gets ruined.

I understand this and this thread I made is not about my accident puppy litter. This a topic is to show off my wonderful dogs and their, unfortunite, but happy to be alive puppies.

I just think that the eye rolling could have been left out, all it did was start something, its immature, if you have nothing nice to say other than yay puppies(rolls eyes) then send it to a personal message instead of openly rolling eyes at someone you don't know anything about, you don't know the story behind the puppies.

And I know what a forum stands for, yes, but each forum has its own rules to follow, which coming on here and knowingly putting something that will hurt someones feelings and not even care, is not what a forum is about.. Period.

We do not do it by PMs. Mainly because guests come on and read these threads. If we all went yay puppies (that better?) then they would think it is fine to breed their dogs, and keep them intact.

I don't want yay puppies, I just want, aww sorry to hear you had puppies, hope everything is okay, here is a link to read on what the next steps are, here is my advice, did you get them fixed, they are cute and hope they find homes, whats your story?

Not.

See where I'm coming from?

You think that guest enjoy seeing someone like me just get a rolls eyes without anything nice or helpful? You think they will register and ask for help?

I already know what I'm doing with the pups, all have found wonderful homes, and the father is fixed.

You obviously do not get it. We all say Yay puppies, seeing that the puppies are a mix of 5/6 different breeds, what do you think lurkers are going to see? A forum that tells people that having puppies is alright, and they will go breed their dogs.

And maybe, if you wanted to share your story, you should have before you attacked Amber, and tried to say that she is a troll (you told her to read the last rule, the last rule is about trolls). She is an active member on this forum, and you pointing fingers and getting all defensive, does not help. Yes, we will stand up for long time members.

Also, saying "we may be keeping a puppy because then we will have a piece of the parents when they die" also makes people believe that is why there are puppies. Not saying that is the case, but again, lurkers will interpret it like that. The fact of the matter is, there is little chance that the puppies will remind you at all of your two dogs, other than the fact that they came from them.

Ok seriously people? She didn't come on here and go "Yay!! I bred my mixed dogs and they had puppies and please tell me how wonderful I am"

She owned up, she made a mistake, she's dealing with it and she took steps to prevent future issues. Should it have happened in the first place? No, not in an ideal world. But it did and so this is the reality and I don't think she needs to be lambasted and once again go through a thread telling her how irresponsible she is.

What do you want her to do? She can't put them back.

Your dogs are adorable, I really love Misty, such an expressive face and Mason looks like a card. I hope the puppies are all healthy and you get through the next couple months with them without anything eventful happening.

A word to the wise, no matter what forum you go to things are going to be said, it's the way of a forum. Pointing out what rules you think they are breaking to them is not a good way to start and isn't going to make you any friends fast. I get it, you're gun shy and are just looking for some people not to tear you down but that's never going to happen if you get upset and snarky at the first hint of conflict

Looking forward to watching the puppies grow, do you know which one you are going to keep? Male or female?

I am sorry for doing how I did, another forum did the same thing worse and I just lashed, which I shouldn't have done it that way and the posters should have responded either. I should maybe put up my story about them, but this is just general info on my pets, not the story of what happend you know?

So yes I'm sorry about how i reacted.

We want to keep a female. I'll get some pictures up of them all soon.

Also I'll put up my story on here i guess soon.
