More pictures, we want more pictures!!!! LOL.

Three Dobermans! And they're gorgeous. Can't wait for some stories. I have one Doberman....an almost 2 yr. old male named Lyric. He's the love of my life. You must be in heaven with three of them. Are they all females?

Welcome to the forum!

I got our first doberman Lady in 1973. she was a beautiful Red. She was a sweetheart. But she was a scary cat. We had a 4lb poodle that ruled the house. When we moved over to England in 1976 we gave the dogs to my Mother and Mother in law. I just could not bring myself to put my babies in quarantine for 6 months. We live overseas from 1976 till 1988. Once we moved back to MO in 2000 we or should I says I decided that I wanted another doberman. Raven was our first. She is 4 1/2 years now and is a wonderful girl. Love to play hide and seek. I can take a new person that she has never met. let her sniff them and then that her away and let them hide. she will find them every time. She is sooo smart.. I taught her to sit at 7 weeks and shake hands in 1 day.
Spirit is our Male. He is 4 and has his AKC Canine Good Citizen award. He is the nicest boy you would ever meet. All he wants to do is please you. We are currently working on therapy training with him so we can start taking him to Nursing homes and hospitals. He would play ball or Bubbles all day with you if I let him. :D
Gypsy is another Female and is 3 1/2. She is a great dog but is unsure of strangers. I really have to tell her that I am alright before she will leave me to let the new person pet her. She is our barker. she barks at everything. cats.. dogs.. squirrels.. leaves.. birds.. leaves... Well, I guess you get the picture. We really have to keep on her about it. We also have 2 indoor cats. both spay females. TT is a Tabby and CC is a calico. They are 11 years. Spirit loves CC and I have caught him trying to mate to the cat.. I keep telling him it will not work.. Poor cat..
I will post more photos soon.
Thank you to all of you for the warm welcome. :)

My dobe trys to love our cat in that way too! How weird is that. I brought this home and I was scared it would suffer the same fate http://photobucket.com/albums/v195/joceboo/?action=view&current=100_2352.jpg i'd love to get inot the therapy stuff but I guess it'll have to wait a while! I'd also love to have three! They are just the best dogs.

Nedim, I think your talking about the posting pic, right? That is what they put their ears in after they are cropped. My original of that pic is one of my favorites. That was the first time he really played with his toys even thoguh he had just got his ears done.

I have a ton but believie me there are people who have so many more! I have nothing compared to them!

this is my favorite, don't know if you noticed it or not. A girl I traded some ponys with made it for me. http://photobucket.com/albums/v195/joceboo/?action=view&current=100_2270.jpg If I could paint like that I would have dobe pics all over the place. Not to mention be trying to sell them to all the other dobe suckers :D I can never find good dobe art. They are always eitheir eating someone or have pit cut ears.

You can never have too many dobies!! :D

Welcome, frznbuns! (you must live someplace chilly!)

Mrose, did you mean "wobblers"? Wobblers syndrome (spondylolithesis) is a neurological condition caused by the compression of the spinal cord in the dog's lower neck vertibrae. It occurs most often in dobies and Great Danes. It's characterized in lesser cases by a lack of coordination in the rear legs, and more severely can cause paralysis, extreme loss of coordination and constant "shakes" as the dog's nervous system tries to compensate for the malfunction. It's an extremely painful illness with few treatment options short of spinal surgery and steroid therapy. I think if Raven had wobbler's, she wouldn't be such a gorgeous, healthy-looking girl!
