Here are some pics I took yesterday of the big bad wolfie Kuruk
Kuruk was born a Native American Indian Dog and was bought for $1500 by a couple who believed the story the breeders told them about how they were hypoallergenic( umm ya he sheds more than the huskies lol)...great loving, companion family dogs! Well...he is actually a wolfdog bred by people who never should even own an animal much less breed them...He was so shy and timid around strangers a behaviorist said he wouldn't change and to put him down...Another couple took him and tried...again same thing..he wouldn't come out around the Male human..he wouldn't eat or drink.he would stay hidden...the female human was feeding him from her hand in his hiding spots.....and he would pee and poo himself in any stranger situations...He was only 4 months old at the time...I got an email and just knew I needed to help...we brought him here and he was the same way around strangers for the longest time..he would dart, run and hide....He has come around sooooooooo much for us...I can't explain it...but from the start he trusted me....He is still scared of strangers but when someone comes in the house he will actually stay in the room..sometimes even giving up and laying down on the couch ... He is terrified at the vets but we made it through each time and no accidents .. He is my big furry teddy bear most of the time..I love him dearly and I have taught my kids how to behave around him for all safety purposes(he has a really big jaw and lots of scary teeth!! LOL)....It doesn't mean living with him is easy he has issues...lots of them!!( he pulled me head first through a fence once after a rabbit ) LOL I like to think though everyday he gets a lil better
Anyway here are 2 pics from yesterday to show you how loving and sweet they really can be
