Got a call from the vet advising all is well and there shouldn't be any future problems as a result of this growth. Apparently, these occur in young dogs and sometimes if left disappear within 3 months. The trouble is if left and begins bothering the dog (as with Molly) and it's scratched, bitten, etc. it can become infected. Glad it was removed. Life is good again (for the moment!). :D

Yup. Histiocytomas are often not much to worry about. Glad that is what it is and you can now breath freely. No more worries. :)

Kes had one of those on his head - totally freaked me out, too. Luckily the vet at work saw what it was and said it would go away and it did. :)
