This is my dog! lol Well I wish he was mine!! I really really really really really .....you get the idea....I want him so badly! His name is charlie and he has seperation anxiety. So what does his stupid owner do!? Drop him off at the shelter!!! Like that's going to help anything! But I'm going to do EVERYTHING in my power to get him adopted or sent to rescue! I know a lady at the shelter and she has told me (she knows I'm there a lot) that if I have a special dog that I really want to get out of the shelter to contact her and she'll do her best.

Anyways he is a REALLY sweet boy who knows sit, down, come, shake, and walks VERY gently on a leash! The good thing is today was the day the shelter officially turned over to a no kill shelter! Very good news for MY Charlie brown boy. We had some kind of news coverage and that's why all the dogs that need the most help getting adopted (Including charlie) have bandana's on Anyways, here's my Charlie brown boy (His name is only Charlie but He liked charlie brown better ;) )

hiphiphiphiphorrraaaaay and a twenty cannon salute to this being the first day of a no kill shelter..i am happy for them and for you. I don't know how you people do it that can go in there and help a dog that may die that week. I know it tears you up every bit as much as it would me.
Charlie plucked your heartstrings..and now you are his angel;)

The thought's occurred to me that perhaps the reason Charlie had separation anxiety problems might be because his owner never really gave him the affection he needed . . . I know that sounds strange, but some dogs just need the security that comes with knowing they are loved; once they have that reassurance, the anxiety seems to take care of itself.

He's very cute! So, are you going to keep him? :D

See, this is why I stopped volunteering at the shelter, I really wanted to bring them all home :(

I know it's so great! I hate going in there with all the poor babies and knowing they may die :( But I think I'd feel worse not doing anything to try and help them the best I could! It's sad, but thankfully after yesterday I don't have to worry about that! :) Although I do still have to worry about them finding homes and not spending a long time intheir kennels! But the number of animals coming into the shelter have gone down significantly in the last 5 years! :)

You never know! That would be ideal if that's what it was because it would mean his new (soon to be hopefully!) owners wouldn't have a horrible time with him :)

He's gorgeous. If you can't have him I hope you can have contact with whoever adopts him so you can keep in touch. I'm sure you are just as special to him.

OH MY you just reminded me!! A friend of mine lost their dog (was a big brown mutt) a while ago and I know they where thinking of another one!! Thanks!! I'm going to call them right now and maybe get the idea of charlie in their heads!!!

I can't have him :( There's absolutely no way for me to get him :( But it would be great if I could get my friends to adopt him! Maybe then we could have play dates with Lucas and that!! :D but I'm getting ahead of myself....I'm gonna call my friends! Wish me luck!

I did get to talk to them a little and I got really good vibes from them! They both (the parents) seemed really nice and really love charlie and he's already getting spoiled! :D lol Not really a chance of visiting though cause they live pretty far out :( But they said they would email me on updates with him which is awesome!! :D :D
