I miss her so. I saw a lab in a truck this morning at qt. Looking out the window just like Mary and I had a melt down. SHe was such a good girl.
IT is a comfort to know that she went as well as I could send her. THat her life was rich and full. IT's me I am feeling sorry for now. I miss her everywhere i look because we were a team. I know it will get easier, and I am not looking for sympathy. I just can't believe she is really gone.
Thanks Gapeach and Andrew. IT means a lot to me that you came and shared this with me. SHe should not be forgotten. LIke REggin, nanny dogs are my most favorite dogs of all. They deserve a special place in heaven where they can watch over the babies. IT's not something you can train, it is a gift from the heaven's to us. I was just so lucky to have her for as long as I did.

SHe wasnt' by my side but she was "involved" somehow in everything that was going on. If i was scrubbing the floor, she would be chuckling at me, tail thumping from the sofa. It was our running joke that housework thing. Bronki was my velcro dog. I know what you mean GRammy I do i do. Not having his weight on my shoulder when i drove home from having him pts just about slipped me up for good. I miss her good humour, her way of always making whatever it was "happier". Let the car breakdown in the middle of nowhere and she would make the walk somehow enjoyable. SHe never complained about a thing. SHe never pushed, or whined, or tried to boss. Oh shoot...i am a mess tonight. Sorries..I have probably said all of this over and over again.

Mary was just magical.. That's all there is to say about her, she was so infinitley charming, one of the gang, and I for one will miss hearing about her dreadfully.
Magic Mary, you were loved, charmed and cherished by all, you were one of lifes true givers, and I feel very lucky to have known you and your life through Smkie and the stories she has so kindly shared with us on Chaz. Go in peace, with love in your heart and a wag in your tail..
The true testiment to a life well lived is the memories she has made for all of us, Mary will always be remembered and there is a special place for her here in our hearts.
