I really don't understand all the fuss. It's a production sometimes, in order to be able to put on something worth watching, a sleep in a bed is in order, not to mention, what happens if they leave him out there sometime when the risk really is too great and come back to find something gnawing on his remains? It's TV . . . . just enjoy it and if they offer you something interesting that actually feeds your head, well, that's a huge bonus and should be applauded. If people want to cripe about something not being "real" then how about dogging Sprnger?

I can only say three things about that article Renee...

1.) Just another example of the "media" trying to create a story where there is none.

2.) To the author of it... Dude, he is more manly than you could ever possibly dream of. Now go back and sip your latte, pussy.

3.) "Don't hate the player, hate the game."

I kind of like Survivor Man better. He's really on his own for 7 days, no cushy camera men to keep him company. :p

Plus he's Canadian, whoo! lol

I have watched that show a couple of times (not really into reality TV, when I watch TV its cause I want to 'escape' reality) It was good. Very impressive.

LOL the guy was in the british special forces..... a few years ago he had a parachuting accident and broke his back in THREE.... yes three.... places. And now he is doing this show to show people how to survive if they were ever stuck out in the wild with no supplies. He jumps into bogs, quicksand, rock climbs (without all the gadgets) shimmies up and down trees, climbs down in cravasses.... etc etc.... I don't care how many camera people are watching.... if you fall from a 60 foot cravass you are DEAD.

I bet whoever wrote that's idea of camping is in an RV with a bathroom and shower and kitchen. PFFT.
