so sorry to hear this--Kaylee looks like a tough girl, and I bet she gathers every bit of joy out of life in the moment.

I'm so sorry Linds... what a horrid shock. I'm glad she's with someone who has her best interests at heart. She looks like she's having a good time.

I saw this post on FB and I responded twice, but my phone was being a jerk and it never posted.

Anyways, I'm sorry to hear about Kaylee. I too am like you and try to avoid things until they can no longer be avoided. I hope has lots of happy days left with you. ((hugs))

**** cancer.

So sorry about the Dx, Linds. I hope Kaylee thoroughly enjoys her remaining time. She may be a butthead but she's YOUR butthead and she really likes herself that way. Hoping for peace for both of you.

Oh no! Kaylee's always had a special place in my heart somehow . . .

Bone cancer is what Shiva had. The essiac didn't stop it (and Charley didn't give it to her regularly either), but it did seem to keep her pain free and able to go about her life fairly normally and happily. She went from waking him up in the middle of the night for pain meds to not needing any at all, ever. That was worth a lot to me, even though it killed me to not be able to bring her home with me and take care of her.

Give Kaylee smooches from me, please. <3

I'm very sorry to hear this news. She's such a sweet looking dog, and still does look to be enjoying life, and I hope she can still for a great deal of time. :)

I just wanted to say thanks to you all a ton. I seriously appreciate the support more than you guys know. She was supposed to live forever just to spite me. It's hard, she went from using her back leg to get around 4 days ago to being almost exclusively on three by today.

I've been contacting vets this afternoon to find one that can do a home visit when it's time since I can't justify making her go back to a vets for that when she hates clinics. I'm really really hoping for a couple more weeks at this point.

I think one of the hardest things right now is trying to live in the moment rather than the "She won't be here to cuddle with under the covers this winter" or all the other little things that make it very hard to be upbeat.

This sucks. But luckily she's still prancing when I bring out food for her so it's not time yet.

I am also sorry to hear the news but she is one lucky girl to have you as her family to treat her so wonderfully.
