He does remember me so I was very relieved about that. He acts a little different than he used to though. He has lost all interest in fetching, which made me sad because I loved doing that with him. He seems to have lost some of his pep too. I kept thinking it was maybe because he is older now (3) and past his puppy time. He's the only dog I've ever had so I don't know if that could be the case or not.
I noticed his nails were a little long so we took him to get them clipped. They do it for $5 at the vet office so we go there. While we were there the girl said he was past due for his annual physical and shots (this is where I scowl at my boyfriend) so I made the appointment for the next day. Anyway the point of all this is that he went to the vet twice during my visit and I felt pretty bad about that. I just hope he doesn't associate my coming with vet visits.
He is having a terrible time with allergies right now. He has to take antihistamines. We are considering having the allergy test done to see what exactly is causing the problem. He has also lost a couple teeth, which isn't suprising as its a crested trademark.
Overall he seemed fine, I just hate that he lost that spunk. Now you can see exactly how hairy he can get because my boyfriend doesn't shave him at all. He just trims the hair on his face to keep it out of his eyes.
