Or...maybe she herself didn't want to live in a constant state of dominance and submission....with him being dominant (and assertive) and her being submissive and
calm about it to boot. I mean, if he is in the habit of thinking that way...it's a way of life for him to maintain that "pack leader" status, maybe that got on her nerves.
Yeah...she should wind up very comfortable. And he shouldn't have any trouble finding someone else who will feel lower on the linear hierarchy he likes to artificially impose on dogs....
if what he does with dogs, he does with people...at least until the next one is shut down as long as she can stand it until she explodes into fight or flight. Illusion took flight. Maybe the next one will bite him.
