Not yet - I'm a softcover fan so I usually wait a long time to get stuff. I actually went to the library to check out the last Percy Jackson book because it wasn't out in softcover yet, but I wanted to know how the series ended, haha.
Plus now that Borders is gone I haven't actually bought very many books... I was sort of an impulse buyer with books. I'd go to the store with my coupon with nothing particular in mind, wander around, and go "oh hey, I wanted to read that!" and buy something.

My bank account is happy Borders went under I guess. =P
You need a used book store close to you. They know me by name at "Books 4 Less"

<3<3<3 Seriously. Tamora Pierce is the writer that got me into fantasy. I adore her books. The Tortall books are incredible and I love the way she extended the series/realm with Terrier and the Trickster's Choice books.

And Juliet Marillier - I've read all three of those books at least five times each. They are amazing.
I knew I liked you!

Yeah, Tamora Pierce stuff was pretty much what I got into after Harry Potter. Before Harry Potter I hated reading, then I read that and liked it. Then I got her Immortals series and finished the first in a day and it was all over. Love her stuff so much. Bored? Well guess I'll reread some Pierce books!

And have you read any of the Juliet Marillier's books? Daughter of the Forest is still like one of my all times favorites and I've read it more times than I can count. But I really did enjoy her Hearts Blood book which was kinda a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, though very different. And Heir to Sevenwaters was interesting and neat, very different from her typical heroine

Thanks so much you guys! I now have a huge list that I've compiled by googling the suggestions you guys made, and picking ones I'm interested in. So far I think I want to read Divergent first, but a ton of others made it to my list. I really appreciate the reccomendations! :D

You are right! As easy of a read, they really are well written. I Love all the characters and was very sad when the book was over. Some of the characters I Love from other unconnected (sortof) books of hers. I think she is very funny too! The main character just makes you laugh (and I am in love with the main male character *is it ok to be in love with a book character?*).
As it wont ruin anything....I have read the series multiple times now and I STILL laugh each time when the MacHalo is invented...know the scene I am talking about?? :D

And yes......head over heels for the main guy.

Oh, another author I really like....Illona Andrews (ok, technically it two authors but thats the name the use) All the books are good but her Kate Daniels series....really like the slow build of the relationship..gives you time to really fall in love with the characters.

Also, Keri Aruthur...really really love her Riley Jenson series. Very good love story there as well

All of these though are definitely adult and tend to be on the graphic/violent side but man, GOOD characters and plot.

Oh, and if looking for just a good romance, often with a bit of a juicy story line, Nora Roberts has some great stuff. Yes, they are romances, but honestly, except for her really old stuff, she tells a great story to go along with it. Often a bit predictable and the characters are not as deep as some series, etc...but I am always entertained and hooked by them

LOVE Juliet Marillier. Her books are so long and so in depth but they're so incredibly good. I read the Sevenwaters books when I was in high school and then spent HOURS combing Barnes and Noble for them one day (I couldn't remember the title or the author lol) and have re-read them multiple times since. I'm going to have to look up her not Sevenwaters books....I vaguely recall buying one a couple years ago. *off to search book collection*

Oh and the Abhorsen books by Garth Nix are incredible. I don't know if anyone has recommended them yet!

This!! ^^ And there's even romance in some of them. Like Guards! Guards!, which is possibly the best one evar. It's from the perspective of the poor guards who have to run in and be haplessly slayed one by one when someone shouts, "Guards! Seize him!"

Seconding the Abhorsen series. I own that one, in hardcover. lol.

Lately I've been on a Patricia McKillip kick. She's probably one of my most favorite authors. Just finished Od Magic, which was really incredible and it had romance. I think I need all her books in hardcover.

Edit: Guards! Guards! is also pretty romantic. Lady Sybil is awesome. That is all.

I feel like something is wrong with me because I could not get into those at all.:/
lol Same here.

And I second pretty much everything Linds said. She has wonderful suggestions. There are a couple she mentioned that I'm still waiting to read.

But Tamora Pierce? AWESOME. I started reading them when I was in grade school, and I still read them all. the. time. I can read them over and over. I will never stop loving those characters.

The diskworld series are the best. It was hard for me to get into them a couple years ago, but that's because I was pretty young, and all of the sarcastic jokes were going over my head. But now I love them to death, and they do have romance, its just a little different then most :p Like Carrot and Angua, they have the awesomeness relationship, I love reading them. Its one of those books that could never be made into a movie IMO, his writing style is just awesome.

My sister brought over three books of a series called Skulduggery Pleasant, by Derek something or the other. I haven't read them yet, but I imagine that ya'll would like them, because she has the same taste as a lot of you guys.
