Anybody finding them in a gear splurge right now?

Even though huge bills have left me fairly poor, I find myself buying (and some planning) things that could probably wait.

A tag collar for Tulsa from Blue Lynx.
A winter hoodie for Harlow from Made by Meadowcat
and I'm planning for three tags from Aggie's Anvil once I actually settle on taglines.

I've got problems. :eek:

Currently planning anything?!

I want a tag collar for Gabby but I am currently being responsible and resisting...

I want to try out the new Ruffwear harnesses but I really don't NEED them.

As long as this winter doesn't get any colder than last winter, I shouldn't need to buy coats or boots for the dogs.

I want a variocage, still.

I forgot that I need to buy discs for the Squid so Danielle can have hers back.

AHH, ditto on the variocage want!

ETA: I am upgrading on joring equipment for next year, but not until November.

Well, I just bought Riley a Mizzou bandanna collar that he doesn't really need but it goes with his 'tiger' stripes and we're all Mizzou football fans. :)

I'd like to get him a new scootering harness but his old one still works fine, so I can't really justify buying another one.

Looked at the variocages but they don't appear to open from the side and Riley's crate sits in the middle section of our van, rather than the back. I'd love to have a safer crate for him, but, oh well... :(

Bought a new collar last week, should be arriving this coming week. I've also got another 48in expen coming in (hopefully 2 together gives my girl nice space?? She's been shredding Kleenex boxes, so I want to keep her from anything I don't want her to destroy...) as well as a custom food bowl from Zazzle that I put a picture on from that cartoonize my pet site.

I thought that the bowl would be a nice keepsake, and I plan on doing that with future dogs. I'm really excited for that extra expen though. And the collar- gettin a bit tired of seeing Roxie in orange, lol.

What I really really want is a tough skin harness... Cuz ice age trail. And my parents still have a set of skis.

I need to get some new discs. I was planning on getting the overstock blem/bag set from hero as part of Pig's christmas present, but with how fast she goes through the hyperflite cs discs I just can't put it off that long.

I wish gun dog supply had bigger collars, I really want another one for Badger but he needs at least a 27"

Pig also "needs" some new pyjamas, it was cold this morning and she was sooo excited when I took a pair out for her. Her dinosaur set is a little tight though, so it's time for some new ones

I haven't bought much- 2 collars for Nationals, but now we aren't going (I was going to show Caleb and a friend's yellow male in Rally Pairs). I also just ordered 2 more collars for Caleb as well as a ground cloth to go under the x pen for the rabbit (Caleb doesn't NEED anymore collars). My "wish list" consists of duplicates of some of my Rally signs, another dumbbell holder, a couple of paracord leads, and orange biothane lead.

I go through phases and I've been somewhat bad again. Spending on things he doesn't need. lol. I mean not TOO extreme but... yeah.

I got an Aggies Anvil tag recently, our second, during a sale. I ordered a Collar Mania collar two weeks ago to go WITH that tag. Because, ya know, necessary.


I did just order 2 Hurrta things but then canceled one and the other came from baxterboo and is not going to fit. Both were EXTREMELY good sales so, ya know, I HAD to do it :eek: And one of the things I've been wanting. If it snows again a lot this year, I really wanted a 'snowsuit' for him that covers his legs so we can avoid snowball clumps this year. Baxterboo had it on sale really cheap plus I used a 25% off coupon and a $10 gift code I had, but I'm sad it doesn't fit so I'm returning it, not even sure if they have his size in stock.

I do really want to try a ruffwear harness butttt, I REALLY don't need it.

Okay so come to think about it I've been mostly window shopping. But yeah still. Ridiculous.

LOL good luck. I used the BOGO sale but he did *not* need another tag. He's one dog that has like... 8. or something. So me and Tiffany from the Collar FB group teamed up, lol. I purchased the initial two tags for $27 or whatever it was and she just paid me the other half. So worked out for both of us in the end. Got a tag for like $14 instead of $27.

Not dog gear but I am LONGING to buy my kayak. And one is on CL. For way cheap. But we just spent lots on vacation and car maintenance. :(

Where is everyone getting their discs from? I'd like to do this with Bailey, she loves her "fabric" one from petsmart... But it doesn't throw well / far / smooth. She hates the hard plastic petsmart ones :eek:


I want new tags, but I don't neeeed them :p lol

Before snow flies, we will be getting Copper and Bloo some jammies, maybe coats from Ruffwear. Whenever Ruffwear has the blue FrontRange back in stock, I'll be ordering that and the grey.

I'm leaning towards some FitPaws equipment for my anniversary present.

I need some nice leather leashes and about a thousand more collars from Blue Lynx. ;)

I just ordered Paris a Hurtta winter coat when they were on sale a few days ago. Next I want to get her a ComfortFlex harness because she's pretty much outgrown the Hurtta one. I'd also like to get her a new tag from AA but can't think of a tagline or what I'd want it to say. :p
