fritz flying
Fritz resting.then taking off on a flight around the house.Fritz playing with monkey on the coffee table and scratching on my bed.He had been sitting but got an itch at the last minute.This morning,he snoozed under the covers of mom and dad's bed,come out and had toast with me.Fritz expected me to feed it to him from the plate,but i set it on the floor where i put him down and he ate it up.

Fritz having a look at his cake,Fritz looking up at it and saying,Oh Boy!,is that all mine?.Fritz in Auntie Irene's arms still admiring the beautiful cake.Fritz was having a snooze a few on the bed and he heard a lady walking a Newfoundland by the house and he barked and also another lady walking a Cocker Spaniel up the street and it wasn't walking by the house,it was comingh up the street and he still heard it coming and yapped at it.
Waiting for Aunties
Fritz standing at the back door,looking for the Aunties to come and give gifts and hugs on his birthday.he had some of dad's strawberries,got a treat from mom and is snuggled up to dad on the couch.his Aunties were supposed to come yestrday,but Auntie Irene fell while missing a step on a set of stairs and hurt her knee.Went to the hospital,bo broken bones.
Smooching and Cozy
Fritz smooching Auntie Irene after waiting at the door and Fritz in between Auntie Irene and Dad on the couch with his Rabbit tucked underneath him.Fritz got tuckered out on Saturday as he went for a big van ride in our new van up to my sister and husband's cottage.Fritz and Taffy behaved,stayed away from each other.Fritz met a couple of people who have been doing work on their cottage and Fritz greeting them in the usual Bichon way.Fritz got sick on the ride back,It was a new van,maybe the smell of it or being in the van for the first time.He was okay when he got home and then we went out to dinner as it was mom and dad's 56th Anniversary.We brought Fritz home some chicken as a treat.He sniozed that night and some of yesterday.He was outside ,not too long as it was too warm and would want to come in to cool off,.Last night,snoozed under the rec room couch and the coffee table,then in the front window.he got barking and i had to bring him down.Not that long ago,he barked at a lady walking two Golden Retrievers.
Snuggling and Eating
Fritz snuggled up on a pillow on the couch and finishing off some of his birthday cake.Had a good time with the Aunties,gave them big kisses and got treats in the form of bacon bits.He went on a few walks ,one of which I went on with Auntie Bev.Up the street,a Shih Tzu barked at him from a front window,didn't bother him and he went on his way.As we went down another street,he saw a Scottish Terrier and layed down and waited for the dog to come to him.A car come,so Auntie Bev picked him up and then put him down as soon as the car was gone.he layed right back down on the road and the Scottie come to him and Fritz wanted to play,the Scottie didn't.Fritz had a rest on the table in the gazebo as soon as we got back.Fritz also had a rest in the shade of our Maple Tree in the front yard.Fritz watched us go fror supper from the front window and then went to snooze on mom and dad's bed.We brought back a chicken finger as a treat for Fritz eating his own supper before we left.The Aunties had to ,leave shortly after and Fritz would not kiss them goodbye.We had two thunderstorms go by on Monday and Fritz wa scared of them.he run to the kitchen and back to the couch and got up with dad and was panting and shaking.When the next one come,he first came down to the coffee table and then to the couch.He then went upstairs and first got with mom in her chair,then under the living room couch,head poking out and then up to the couch with dad,panting and shaking the whole time.It has been only in the last year Fritz has been like this,before the age of 3 fine ,now he is not.Tonight was snozing under the rec room couch and it wasn't until dad started feeding him a salmon sandwich,he poke his head out and eat it and he finally came all the way out.
Resting and Begging
Fritz watching ther goings on outside and on my bed begging for a piece of sandwich.Fritz was bad on Wednesday.he snuck out the gate past dad,dad didn't see him and he went a short ways up the road.Mom ,me and a neighbor were trying to catch him,the neighbor almost had him a few times,but Fritz would take off,thinking we were playing.i finally got him when he stopped at another neighbor's front door.Mom gave a verbal scolding later on.Last night,i lifte dthe little couch fro him to go to bed and he barked and growled at me and went back under no way he was going.Mom couldn't get him out with a beggin strip,so we left him there afew minutes.i tried a beggin strip and he came out ,no problem and i put him to bed and he still growling and barking,not used to me putting him to bed.Mom gave him a piece of begging strips and that made him quiet for the night.
bookworm
Fritz tired of being a bookworm ,reading the facts in the World Almanac,he decided to use it as a pillow.Just now,he was moaning and groaning under the small couch,mom thought he might want dad to go to bed and dad got up and out he come and he went up with dad.this morning,he was snoozing in their bed and i took what was left of my bowl of Raisin bran without the Raisin Bran and he sat up and licked it out.his Aunties are coming for the day on Saturday and I am sure Fritz is looking forward to getting treats from them and being spoiled.
Cozy Dog
fritz all cozied up in his favorite livingroom chair.He had a good time with Aunties last Saturday.He greeted them with big kisses,got bacon bits treats,had a 3 short walks about a far as Gracie,the Bichon's house.They bought doughnuts and we ahd tha twith coffee in the gazebo.Fritz got up on the table and a few bits of doughnuts then layed down there.Fritz watched us go for supper from the front window and headed to the bedroom to snooze.While we were at dinner ,there was a thunderstorm,so don't know if he hid under any beds or not. on tuesday night,we had another storm and our power went out briefly and Fritz got scared and ran to the laundry room where his cage was and peed in front of it.When he did go to bed,he whined and barked and scratched at his bed.After we go back from dinner that day,we gave him a piece of chicken finger for eating all his supper.Yesterday,we went out to supper and brought back a piesce of chicken finger which mom put in his dish and he finished his supper.After that,around 3:45,he went under the rec room couch and stayed there for 3 hours wehn he then had bits of ice cream cone from mom and me,then,ice cream from dad.After that,he was up and down the stairs a few times and outside,so mom got fed up and put him to bed at 20 to 9.After going to bed,he whined and scratched at his bed.Thgis morning,after a snooze on mom and dad's bed,he came out and finished my raisin bran without the raisins,then had oatmeal porridge with blueberries from dad,then had a couple of bites of my toast.He is now on the coffee table staring at me.
4 years
Fritz on a comfy pillow on the couch,Fritz as a puppy hiding shoes,having a snooze in the kitchen and lounging under the dining room table.It was 4 years on August 8th that mom,dad an his Aunties went to Wiarton,Ontario to get Fritz.They were still camping,I wasn't,so i had to wait another 3 days to see Fritz and it was well worth the wait.Fritz was a loveable puppy then and as loveable now as a 4 year old .He looks really spiffy as he was to the groomers on Thursday.Mom had a hard time getting him to go.He would just sit still,mom had to literally drag him out. When he got there,he couldn't wait to see the cats that mom had a hard time holding onto him.She le thim go briefly,but managed to step on his leash,so he didn't get far.Mom had me go with her to pick Fritz up as could keep a better hold on him,When we got there,there Fritz was on a table hooked to a chain whining at us.The groomer brought him out and excitedly jimped at a Yorkshire Terrier,the terrier didn't like it and growled the lady with the dog knew Fritz was playing and didnt' mind it all. he snoozed at home,then woke and had a big play with his Monkey Squeaky.Today,was too lazy to get out of bed to have Oatmeal Porridge,but wolke up a little bit later to have it.We went out to dinner this afternoon and he went to the bedroom to snooze and was waiiting at the back door for us to arrive.He was hoping for a treat and mom put some Turkey in with his dog food,ate the Turkey,but left his food in the dish.Now ,he i s behind the small couch snoozing and in about a half hour or so,he will go to bed.

Fritz Sunning
Fritz at the back door sunning himself.Fritz has a problem itching again this summer.He is scratching at a spot in front of his tail.Mom went to the vets and got some pills called Vanectyl P-Tablets and they have been helping,not itching as much.His Aunties visited on the weekend and he was very happy to see them.Fritz gave them kisses,got bacon and bone marrow treats,had pieces of doughnut while sitting on a chair in the gazebo.Also had a few walks around the block with both Aunties.He went and snoozed in the bedroom when we went out to dinner.Fritz was waiting at the back door and we gave him chicken finger pieces as a treat.He had snoozes most of the night,ending up under the small couch and he did not want to come out.He growled at the Aunties and even tried to nip them.Auntie Irene gave him a bacon treat to get him out.The next morning,he snoozed,he is not a morning dog.he snoozed beside Auntie Bev.When they went out to leave, we all went out,mom carrying Fritz and she waved his paw bye bye.Dad has been having trouble walking lately,it is called foot drop,a weakness in the muscles of the feet.Later on Sunday morning,he was coming out of the bedroom and he tripped and Fritz heard the thump of him falling and he was there in the hallway barking excitedly,he was concerned about dad.Dad goes in for tests and bloodwork next month,hope it helps him out,he is getting frustrated at not being able walk right.This morning,Fritz sat beside me in the living room and waited for me to finish my Rice Krispies,he then licked the bowl,had some Oatmeal Porridge,then the rest of my toast.Fritz now in bed for the night.

Two pictures of Fritz in his favorite window seat.This morning,had toast and some of my cereal,had a bit of peach pie at supper for eating his supper,snoozed under theh couch for a couple of hours,had a bit of mini pizzas from all of us,went out twice to cool off,before this had two drinks of water,snoozed under the couch again and he is now gone to bed.H eis till itching,despite having pills for it.:lol-sign:
