Fritz tuckered out

Fritz all tuckered out,napping on my bed.he had just had one of those on my bed this morning for a couple of hours before having a bit of my bologna sandwich,not much though as he is slightly overweight at 19 pounds.He is snoozing with Dad now on the living room couch as it is raining out and not much else to do but sleep.Yesterday,Fritz had his usual after supper play with his Monkey squeakya nd was in and out of my bedroom twice looking for a place to bury it.He finally gave up on that and thought it better for me to throw it to him on my bed.Fritz would then drop it on the floor on purpose so I would have to get up and retrieve it.Last night,he sat and begged for a plastic water bottle I had been drinking from.Fritz already had one on the go,so I offered the old one to him,but i couldn't fool him,so he got the new one.After this,Fritz begged for me to let him upstairs to where dad was sleeping and that is where he went until mom was ready to go to bed. This is the last of these pictures and I am taking new ones and hope to have them by next week sometime.

Fritz has new pal

Fritz has a new pal,Yoda,a Golden Retriever.Fritz hasn't met her yet,but I am sure he will like as my nephew Jason has one named Austin and Fritz has gotten along with him okay.Yoda belongs to our new neigbors and one was a Bridesmaid at my niece Shannon's wedding 7 years ago.Mom chatted with the neighbor todaya nd the dog Yoda wanting mom to throw her the ballf hasn't done much so far today.after he got up,he got with mom in a living room chair and he was on my bed for a couple of hours snoozing except for a brief play at lunch with a water bottle.He is probably waiting for supper which won't be for another hour or so yet.He was on my bed yesterday afternoon,sticking the squeaky monkey in my face,wanting me to play and couldn't resist that temptation.Last night,he wass by his water dush and i aske dhim if he needed a drink,then he run towards me and i asked again and sat up and down twice as if to say yes,so i got the water.he did go up with dad when he went to bed but he went to teh window and then later i heard a bark and he was waiting at the top of the stairs wanting out,he went out and came down to nap under the couch and when mom was ready for bed ,i got him and no growling from him this time.

fritz begging

Fritz begging for a treat from me from the top of the chair.On Tuesday,Dad suggested that somebody,namely me take Fritz out for a walk and did he perk up when he heard that.The leash I used was a little small and was tugging and straining on it,so i will use a smaller one next time.Fritz sniffed at every garbage can and fence post along the way.A German Shepherd barked at him,Fritz stopped to listen and then we were on our way.We were just about home and Fritz spotted a lady down the street walking a Chihuahua and he waited until it got closer and Fritz layed down in the middle of the road for it.They checked each other out and then Fritz wanted to play with the Chihuahua didn't and ran from him.We really enjoyed the walk and Fritz enjoyed it so much that except for supper,he slept the rest of the day.Hope to do it again some time.Fritz will be getting some exercise on the weekend as his Aunties are coming and he will get plenty of walks in with them.Right now,he is catching a snooze under the little couch.

Fritz just sounds like such a happy, carefree little dog. No one could help but smile seeing those pictures of him and hearing your Fritz stories. Thank you for being so sweet and sharing your darling, funny Fritz with all of us.

fritz flipped over

Fritz al four paws in the air and the same picture with him smiling and looking like he is flying or about to fall off the bed..Fritz has been outside enjoying some sunshine as tomorrow is suposed to be rainy and his Aunties are viisting,so he may miss the walks they take him on when they are here.Last night,Fritz didn't want to go to bed,he wanted to stay under the couch and he growled when i tried to get him to come out.Mom got him a piece of wiener and that got him to come out and he was put to bed shortly after.

I LOVE FRITZ!!!!!!! OH..but he just makes me smile...and smile...and smile some more! thanks for sharing him with us. he is so gorgeous, so sweet. what a little personality he has!

Fritz and his Aunties

Fritz with Auntie Irene greeting Auntie Bev and Fritz on Auntie Bev's lap in the living room.he had a good time with them.He watched them come from the window and then he run to the back door to stand with paws on the door looking for them and as soon as he saw them his tail started to go and he gave them both kisses and lick.he had some short walks with them as it was rainy and windy here.After every walk,he expect a treat,that have marrow in them which he seems to enjoy.He also wants a fresh bowl of water every time after he comes in.After these walks,he be tuckered out and would snooze on their laps.We went out to supper last night and he watched us leave from the front window,then quickly went to snooze on the bed.He was at the window when we got back and he hurriedly went there to greet us and we brought home chicken finger to eat mixed Iams delicate bites.this morning,his porridge was too hot,so he was taken on a walk and had it when he came back.They left today,but will see them in 2 weeks as we are going for a ride up north and stop to eat.The next day,we are going with my sister and husband to dinner as it is my dad's 80 th birthday May 8.He thinks the dinner with the Aunties is the big dinner as he doesn't know about the Sunday dinner yet

Sitting up and with pal

Fritz sitting on the back of the chair as mom took the picture while I(Barry) watched.Fritz playing with his trusty old pal,the monkey squeaky.Fritz looks really handsome as he went to the groomers yesterday and he had fun playing with the cats plus he had a lot of dog friends there,including two Bichons,he slept some after supper.Mom went out to play cards later and Fritz went up to the window when dad went to bed and eventually went there and stayed until mom come and put him to bed..Right now,Fritz is laying inside the back door waiting for mom to come in as she just got back from the hairdresser's.

Peek-a-Boo

Fritz peeking out with one eye covered under the bed.Most of the day now he sleeps and sleeps,then wants to play at night.A couple of days ago,he used my shoes at the back door as a pillow and later he brought his Monkey underneath the couch to sleep.Has already been on my bed and had a snooze.When he came up this morning,Fritz crawls right under the covers of their bed and sleeps away,doesn't bother him much.Fritz is now on mom and dad's bed on dad's pillow all four paws in the air

Fritz in a cute pose,begging for a treat on my bed.fritz did a thing that amazed us all.On Monday,i was watching t.v. in the kitchen(kickboxing) and fritz looked up and growled and wagged his tail.then he growled at the counter,thought he wanted a bone,that was not it.Fritz then went under the dining room table and started grwling at me,so mom thought he maybe wanted me to go sit in the living room,not it either.i then went to my bedroom,not it again.We figured he either doesn't like kickboxing or he doesn't like anybody watching t.v in a room meant for eating.A couple of mornings this week,Fritz slept half the morning in their bed and mom couldn't make it..A couple of nights ago,Fritz brought his Monkey under the small couch with him and use as a pillow.Fritz is now up in the living room ,waitng to go to bed.

My Shining Star

Here is my Shinig Star Fritz using his begging technique to wrangle a treat from me.He has had his morning snooze on their bed,now curled up in the living room,resting for his big day with his Aunties tomorrow.Fritz had a blitz with his Monkey last night and it tires him out and eventually he went to have a snooze with dad in the bed until mom put him in his bed.he uses his begging for anything,like to go outside or to the living room upstairs and you can't help but give in to him.

Sleepy Boy

Fritz snoozing on my bed,paws over his eyes.Fritz had a good time on Saturday.Fritz was suprised that we stopped to pick up his Aunties.He slept on their laps the whole way up north(Bobcaygeon,Ontario)When we got there,mom and the Aunties went to do some shopping while dad and i stayed in the van while fritz slept next to me on the back seat.When they got back,Auntie Bev walked fritz the one block to the restaurant while the rest of us drove.Fritz stayed and slept in the front seat of the van and we kept checking on him by looking down from a window to make sure he was fine.Fritz slept half on me and half on Auntie Bev on the way back to their apartment.On our way home,Fritz slept with dad in the front seat,then part way home ,Dad gave him to me and Fritz slept next to me the rest of the way.When he got home,he slept a lot too.We had the birthday dinner for my dad's 80th birthday on Sunday and he was really suprised to see the Aunties there,dad's brother who came about 60 miles for the dinner,some friends of mom and dad's larry and marlene's friends and Larry's dad and his girlfriend.i had prime rib,too much,finished today and yesterday.I had birthday cake,dad got cards ,thanked everybody for coming and couldn't get over how we kept this from him.Fritz is now chawing on a water bottle on a pillow next to dad.

Fritz Hungry

Fritz in front of the fireplace,hoping someone like me will fill his food dish.Yesterday,Mom was using window cleaner attached to a hose and he didn't like the sound of the water hitting the window and he got scared, shaking and then curled up in the corner of the kitchen.Fritz is now on the pilllow next to dad on the couch,panting away after a play with his talking parrott.

Smiley Fritz

Here is my Smiley fritz on the coffee table with his trusty old pal, the monkey.Note his reflection in the top of the table.Yesterday,from 6 to 10 in the morning,fritz slept in mom and dad's bed and mom couldn't make the bed.Later,he curled up on mine,in the front window and on the couch with dad.This morning,he came to my bedroom,stood and looked at me,jumped up and came over and gave me a lick on the ear,then curled up when i then covered him up.he had his Monkey up and downstairs looking for a good hiding place for it.
