I didn't want to post this in the dog section of the forum, just...cause.

But ocassionally I go back to the breeder's website to see if there's any update on Nova. They've just posted brand new pictures of her. She'll be a year old next week.

She's become such a gorgeous dog, and even though the last time I saw her she was just 5 months old, I can totally see the puppy I knew in that grown lady dog. :/

Nova at 1 year.
She's the second dog down, under [the very strange looking] "Biker".

Here's a 5 month pic, for reference (keep in mind she was soaking wet here :) ):

Francheska, Domestika found out she was moving out of the country (to Iceland). Nova's health was very bad and there's a LONG quarantine period required for that move, so it was in her best interests to return her to the breeder rather than subject her to all that trauma that she might very well have not survived, or even been allowed into the country in the first place.

Nova's turned into a lovely dog. I hope the breeder really did finally acknowledge there were some issues and addressed them properly! It looks like she did. Nova looks stunning. You did right by her. ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) I remember how terrible it was for you.

Ha! I couldn't have summarized it much better than that. :)

Nova looks gorgeous. Beautiful coat and silly face. :) I don't think they acknowledge that she's an unhealthy dog. Her mom just had another litter and they don't keep dogs they don't plan on breeding. And they're definitely keeping her.

But I'm sure she's happy...lots of dog friends to play with and maybe they'll even work with her. She'd be great for search and rescue, etc.

I'm sure the right dog for me is out there somewhere. :)
