Crossposting this, hopefully someone can help this poor boy out!

Ok, so my Saturday afternoon at work was going nice and easy, until a call came in for picking up a stray. The nice officer says "oh there's a Shar-pei being a menance, in a not so nice area of town"..and of course, being the lucky duck I am, gets to hop in the little white van, armed with only a snare pole, and some dog food, and a bowl and catch the holy terror. Let me tell you..I was quite shocked when I got there to see what I was up against. I actually asked the officer, "do you know what that is?" But, it's part of my duties to catch, and be humane. Needless to say, it's not a Shar-pei, it's a Fila. While I know, I joked around alot about what's next a Fila, and what not. Really, I was just kidding, I didn't exactly expect to go and pick one up. So, here he is, skin and bones.
He is roughly six months old, very underweight, and because of the lack of nutrition has lost some of his teeth, they actually ended up rotting, he has some funky skin condition going on, but we haven't established what exactly. What I did find upon my inspection of this little boy, is some old puncture wounds, and very over grown toe nails. His demanor well, he is a Fila, so it's typical of the breed, I try not to do anything to **** him off, but I have found as long as I control the food, I control him, he will actually work for food, he will sit, and he will do "how scary am I" bark. When he performs those task I let him have his treat, or dog food. Due to the amount of health issues this little guy has, I really need to get him moved into rescue, that and he is a Fila, and this area has NO BUSINESS handling a dog like this. I always said if a Fila comes threw the doors I am going to run in the other direction. But, I am compassionate, and feel bad for the little guy. No dog, regardless of the breed should have to live or be put threw that. He is showing signs of dog agression, he is fine listening to dogs bark, but becomes quite pissed off when actually seeing the dogs. Included are some pics of his condition, cross posting is greatly appericated. Any ideas, are wonderful also, I really need to see him move in the next two weeks, because the people up there just don't understand breeds like this. For more info, or ideas please contact me, either PM me or feel free to give a call if you have a good contact for Filas. 570-593-8111
