You people are so conceited it's almost unbelievable. When have I EVER claimed to be an expert on anything? I would not have come onto a forum to ask advice if I thought I knew all the answers. I get advice from multiple people and multiple places, so what makes you so much better than other "experts" as you call yourselves? I came on here to ask advice... not saying that I was absolutely going to throw out anything else I have heard and listen to you and only you. By saying that your ways are the only ways, and if I listen to ANYONE other than you, then I am just messing my dog up and making her more aggressive... that is you being close-minded. There's nothing I hate more than people who think that their way is the only way. I have tried things mentioned on this board, as well as other stuff...

and where do you get off saying that I have made the situation worse and that she is just getting more aggressive because of how i've been trying to train her? When she growled at the neighbor, that was the first day that we had even gotten any of our training techniques, and she was not wearing the muzzle, and the collar she didnt even care about it being there. Before that, all we had done was keep them separated, and slowly introduce them to eachother, but not just by letting them run free together. Which, yes ELEGY, was advice given on here.

How about if you people actually listen to what someone is saying... Stop making judgements about others just because they have different opinions, and stop accusing me of making my dog worse because god forbid i did something that the almighty dog forum doesnt agree with. You're not the only EXPERTS on dogs.

Thank you for the advice that was given... I have taken it just as I came on here asking for it... as ADVICE, not as god-written law. I did try some things that some people said. That was the reason I came on here, so I appreciate the actual advice that was given. I do not appreciate all of the judgement passed on me.

Well when 'real experts' are backed with university degrees in animal behaviour, and have actually studied, empiricaly, the behaviour and ethology of dogs, I tend to go with them. Vs the well it worked for some dogs I trained, sort of experts.

We all predicted what would happen, and it did. You did what you thought was correct (can't blame you, we all do what we feel is right) and it didn't work. And now you say we are still wrong?

hmmm so us 'experts' backed by the info of 'real experts' (see above) get it right we are bad? And what you did didn't work (and acutally turned out the way we said it would) you are still right? And you wonder why we throw up our hands and ask you what you want to hear?

First of all, the people I get other advice from are also what you call "experts". There you go again making assumptions based on no fact.

We all predicted what would happen, and it did. You did what you thought was correct (can't blame you, we all do what we feel is right) and it didn't work. And now you say we are still wrong?

What exactly was it that you "predicted what would happen and it did?"
How do you know that what I've been doing hasnt worked? I have never said that.

I'm not wasting anymore of my FREE advice on this thread. If any of you wish to continue beating your heads against a brick wall, be my guest.
You can use the p.m. feature, create or participate in a new thread if you so desire. Frankly, there are many others here who need help and support and most of all, appreciate it and are gracious about it. It certainly does not appear that this poster desires help or advice with her dog and that she's got it all under control.
