Last weekend we took the dogs to one of my favourite parks. The creek is so low right now that instead of walking our usual trails, we just walked through the creek for an hour or more. There were still a few deep swimming spots, but none of the dogs were interested. They were all more than content just splashing around in the shallow parts. I wasn't thrilled with a lot of my pictures (most of my action shots didn't turn out), but since I haven't posted many this summer, here are a bunch. :)

He is looking like such a grown up dog nowadays. I knew he'd filled out but lately he's just been looking so much less and less puppy-ish.

Keira was full of herself this day! She had so much fun.

^ They lost this toy, by the way. I was so sad. I'd had it for like 7 years and it had hardly been used. and the only reason it got lost was because not a single one of them was paying attention to which direction I threw it. Dogs...

That's all! We're taking them somewhere else tomorrow so hopefully I will have better picture success. And no more missing toys, haha. At this rate the dogs are going to have to get their own jobs to replace all the ones they lose!

Wow! What an absolutely gorgeous place to take the dogs! The photos are fantastic. The Dobes look sooooo striking and serious and growed up! Dance, she's beautiful.

Great pictures! Can't wait to see the ones from tomorrow. :D

All of your dogs are beautiful but there's just something about Dance's expression that I absolutely love. :)

Adorable dogs < 3 It looked like they had quite a bit of fun :)

May I ask, what type of camera are you using? I absolutely love how the photos turned out!

Thanks, everyone! :)

I use a Nikon D7000. It's a really nice camera. I like it! Whenever I'm having a bad photo day the only one to blame is myself I think, haha. The camera itself is great.

The photos are great!! Been hoping you'd post a photo thread, love seeing Dance and the Dobes :)

I love the secondary sex characteristics on Keira and Ripley. Keira is so pretty and feminine, and Ripley is stunning hunk of a Doberman Pinscher.
