I know sometimes you may feel timid posting or acknowledging you have a "desginer dog" but lets see some pictures... I haven't seen a thread yet showing some of these dogs:

Here is a pic of my 7 month poodle mix... resting on her bean bag as she was just spayed recently:

I'd like to see more pics from everbody. :)....YES I know.. I do need to clean up those tear stains more frequent :)

probably don't see pics because most don't believe in mixing two purebreeds to make a mixed breed "designer dog".
i like mutts as much as anyone else, but i sure wouldn't sell one for hundreds or thousands of dollars like some people are doing...and claiming they are their own breed....registered, etc.
sorry, but i don't agree with designer dogs when you can get one from a shelter...both are mutts, at least until designer dogs are recognized as being specific breeds and registerable as a breed.
I do think you have a very cute poodle mix though. :)

I don't like the term designer dog, but OMGoodness, your dog is adorable! She reminds me of my first Toy Poodle I had growing up. I'll have to find a picture of him and posted here. What a doll, she definitely has lots of poodle in her. She's such a unique dog and she doesn't need the label of a designer dog, she's perfect just as she is, a mix. Be proud of that! :)

Edit to add picture. He's not a mix, I hope it doesn't ruin your thread, I just had to share with you his picture. When I saw your baby's pic it just brought a whole bunch of emotions of when I had Toby.

This is Barny and Luke with my daughter (13 years ago).
Barny and Luke have both passed. They were great dogs.
I have mentioned them both on chaz many times.

Barny (top) chow/malamute cross.
Luke (bottom) great dane/spitz. Yes that is true, I saw the parents.
Father was big beautiful harlequin great dane, mother was a white spitz.
I don't know how that poor little dog had all those huge pups!!
It was quite upsetting.

Both dogs were free and from terrible living conditions.
Luke had hook, tape, and round worms when I got him at 7 weeks.

Neither had any medical care. No shots, No dewormings.......and of course no checkups.

Chalk that up to irresponsible breeders! I can only imagine where their siblings ended up.

oops, almost forgot my pic.......

We had her sister too who looked like a wire hair terrier(and ginger looks jsut like a beagle) but she was always sick adn was pts when she was about two-ish. They came form the pound and for that twenty five bucks I've had ginger almost thirteen yrs now. Shes still going strong:)

Your dog looks jsut like a toy poodle a friend had when we were growing up.

While I don't consider Sophie a designer dog, she is a lab/standard poodle (labradoodle) and is the most wonderful, kind, intelligent soul I have ever met...here she is:D

Sorry for the edits, I'm new to posting pictures and just figured it out!

To me " designer dogs " are dogs bred to another breed to bring in $$$ ... others are accidents which have wonderful mutts. Both are the same to me..... one may cost $50 , the other $500. Dr2.... your dog is a doll ! I wouldn't pay high bucks to buy one, but would hope to find one through rescue or the HS.

Pup_man your dog reminds me of the second dog I had as a kid. He was a lhasapoo (lhasa apso x poodle). Pretty similar.

Everyone knows of MY "designer breed!" I call him my Mongolian Poochie Dog, because while I can guess at what he is (pit bull x dachshund?) there's really no telling what MOjo is...

i think any dog can be cute or handsome, no matter if it's a mutt or purebreed. but i agree with bubba...you shouldn't have to pay high $$$ for a mixed breed just because he's considered a "designer" now. get the same thing from a shelter/humane society...don't breed a mutt, save one! :)

i would have figured Boone to be some kind of elkhound/wolfhound mix possibly...lol. he looks bigger than a lab or poodle and his feet and legs have a houndish look. he's adorable, btw.
