My smooth babies are now 4 months old. I have just the 3. A friend of mine came down last weekend and since I had help, we took some photos of the babies.....

Sage was by far the easiest to photograph! She is a natural. The other two could hardly keep 4 feet on the ground for 2 seconds. But they are happy babies. There other sister left a couple weeks ago, and will be shown in Conf. once mature, but her owner is getting ready to start herding with her.... I'm hoping to start with mine as well in the very near future...

Just thought I'd share

Thanks everyone!!

There were 7 in the litter. Three are in GA and will be shown. One of the girls just left a couple weeks ago and she'll be doing conf. and performance. Then I have these 3. It's a really nice litter.

I think some collies have that natural ear, and others have to be taped? I may be wrong though.

Sage is gorgeous! As is Flint, but I'm a sucker for Tri!

COLLLLIEEEEEEEE PUPPPIIIEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

I luff them all! And WOW, Sage is a looker! But I think I may have to steal Flint so I can have a matched pair ;)

And good luck with herdning! I just found out today there's a guy not too far from me that does herding, so I may have to hit him up and see if we can work with Logan a bit.

As for the ears, some have naturally perfect ears, some need taped/braced as puppies, and some need them taped/glued into adulthood. Logan has one ear that's always perfect, and one that wants to go prick. Since he's still going to be shown in conformation, I keep at least the one ear glued most of the time. Since I'm anal and like symmetry they're usually both glued

Cute! I love their ears! Are they naturally like that?
Most collies have their ears taped as babies to make sure they end up with correct ears.. very few are totally untouched and natural, just because most people won't risk prick ears or ears set wrong... because once they are past 5-6 months old, if they have bad ears, it's hard to correct..

Sage's ears have been taped... but they looked great for the pics, so I didn't retape them....

Sage is beautiful. she looks to be a show stopper.
i have a soft spot for collies, something about their facial expressions just melt me.
