Bully Sticks

I feed Bully Sticks, occasionally. My boys love them!

I also feed Flossies, Lamb ears, Cow tails, Beef straps, etc... All made by Merrick. They also get dried chicken strips.

I usually feed chewies for a special treat, when they need to be in their crates, or they are being left home alone for a while. They don't need them for teeth cleaning, because nothing beats raw meaty bones!

Anyone know what the sticks are made of? Where do you purchase yours?

LOLZ... I'm surprised no one has told you! : D Bully sticks are made of, well, a "special" part of a bull. You know. The kind that seperates them from cows.

I love it when my dogs have them, when people are over. The facial expressions are priceless. I buy them from the local feed store, they aren't horribly expensive. I think it's about $3 for a 6".

My guys love them, but with 4 power chewers, and 3 moderate chewers, they are gone so fast. Even though my dogs are small they can demolish a large (7 dollar) stick in an hour or 2. My fave is the 'stuffed hooves' by merrick, takes them about 2-3 weeks to completely demolish one of those.

LOL so true I wish I had a picture of all the faces Ive seen. Whats worse is when the bull its from is out in the field and you point it out and tell them its his penis LOL.

I've been tempted to try the hooves, but I thought they weren't digestible and could be just as hazardous as pigs ears?
