Anyone ever heard of these or have one? I think they're really neat, the buckle and styles of the collars are something different. I just don't know about their durability. I'm not so worried about getting one for Boone, he's easy on his collars. But Woof gets tied on when he's outside and does tend to be rough on his collars because of it. He runs flat out until he gets slung back by his chain. His nice leather one I got from Hotdogs only back in the spring looks horrible and has a large spilt it in from tugging so much on his chain. I know some collars aren't meant for tie out so I was wondering if these were tough enough for it? Does anyone know?

Right now he's wearing a rather unattractive camo collar by Remington simply because its the toughest one work sells and is recommended for tie out. I'm not a huge fan of it but its tough enough to withstand him so what can I do but put up with it. Though I suppose I could get him one anyways and just use it for walking and the camo collar for tie out.

I have one... but then I have many different types of collars and my martingales are still my favorites... the buckle down collar I have is pretty strong actually. My husband tested it out by buckling and pulling really hard to see if it would break open. He's very strong and it didn't budge... probably just depends on who makes the collar. I prefer the metal buckle down collars to the plastic buckled ones personally.

I've always tried choosing metal buckles/snaps over plastic with him. Plastic doesn't tend to stand a chance with the woofanator. The buckles look pretty sturdy from the pictures so I was hoping it wasn't decieving, the sturdy, stronger collars I've found so far haven't been very appealing to the eye so I hoped these were as sturdy as they seemed.

If you mean the ones with the seatbelt buckles... I've heard the material is not the strongest from some reviews. I LOVE these collars though. I don't have one yet, as I'm concerned it may be too large for Jackson's small 15lb frame.

I will never ever have a plastic buckle on any dog even the most trusted. If what you have is working well, I would be afraid to change, the don't screw with what is working policy is one I try to abide.

Are you talking about the seatbelt buckle ones? If so, I have one and it definitely seems very strong, though I only have a 15Ibs dog though, so I guess it depends on the weight. I've never used it for tie-out, though, so I'm not sure how that would hold up then...
