I've never really been in the habit of buying water but our water supply here in town is so shady pretty much everyone does. So we get the big blue jugs of water for $3 and we even cook with that water.

But lately, Steve has gotten in the habit of buying little 500mL water bottles. We buy 24 for $5 and they seem to last quite awhile. I love them! I used to think that bottled water is a waste of money but no more than Coke or any sugary over-priced beverage. At least it's good for me and if it makes me drink more thank it's worth it.

I think I prefer not to dirty a cup  I don't know what it is about the bottles that make me drink that over ... whatever else. I'm odd!

Our tap water is fine (i hope lol) so we normaly just refill bottles with the tap water. If we are out and about we sometimes buy bottled water but it's quite cheap.

only when I am out and can't get water anywhere else lol. We use a brita filter here so we always have tastey ice cold water handy.

We only drink bottled water. We buy the gallon jugs of water for the dogs, and the single bottles for ourselves.

I would never drink the Orlando water... besides all of the chemicals and the aluminum smell, it's blue =/

lol you guys

Our water treatment system is horrible. A lot of people in the country use holding tanks instead of septic tanks so they have them drained regularly. The sewage from town and the holding tank goes to one of the 150 lakes where it is dumped, untreated. The 'solids' are taken out but that's it. Then the dirty water goes through our lake system where nature does it's best to treat it and ends up in our main lake where kids swim  and the water is taken out for drinking water. It is treated in the traditional chlorination way but that's still nasty!!! I have to know how water is treated and where it comes from before I'll drink it.

I miss living in New England. The water was always so much cleaner... and it was crystal clear. However, we always drank bottled water even up there.

Yeah, the Orlando water is really nasty. Our tub is white, and when it's all filled up it's light blue colored. I couldn't imagine putting that into my body or my pets. I bet we'd glow in the dark before long because of all of the chemicals =/

I need to get out of Orlando. Everyone here is always so angry and rude... maybe it's because of all the chemicals and dye in the water :lol-sign: But yeah, our water is one scary substance.

My parents live in south Florida, and even that is much better than Orlando.

No bottled water here. I think our water is fine though. No smell to it and it's sparkling clear...
