Thank you to my friends here who have helped me through.I used to be germanshepherdgurl.Most of you know me as Lisa.I had to go offline as Norm was charged with assault and removed from our home.I now have to move to a apartment.I am ok and will be better soon.I am glad to be back.I missed talking dogs.Love you guys.

Thanks,it is scary though.Being single seems strange since we were together 7 years.I will find someone when I am ready but for now it's all about Gwen and I.

I did that, after 12 years . . . . It seemed like forever, but the relief when I finally got the backbone to throw his worthless hide out the door was immense. It would have been impossible without good friends supporting me though. Those years are hard to turn your back on, no matter how awful they are. It seems that once you've gotten free, it's easier to remember the few good times than all of the bad ones, and it can be very tempting to go back. But once you go back you're lost.

So, just remember you have all sorts of friends who will support you, or even just babble about nonsense when that's what you need.

My only worry now is the custody battle.He is going for full custody and I am worried about what lies he will say to try and get it.I am never going back to him.He had enough chances.I do miss him but I need someone who respects women.
