I dunno why, but I'm in a chick flick mood. I think it's because I've been watching so many sci-fi/fantasy/action/adventure movies and it's getting dull.

So yeah... what are your favorite chick flicks?

I LOVE Bridesmaids. It's hysterical. My boyfriend also loved it, which makes it not a chick flick, I guess.

I'm watching Midnight in Paris right now. Forgot how much I like this movie.
I loved that movie WAY more than I thought I would.

While in general, I'm not a huge 'chick flick' fan, I do love How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days -- always thought it was super cute. Bridesmaids, too, but most guys I know love it, so I guess it's not exactly a 'chick flick'. Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail.

Does Jerry Mcguire count as a chick flick? Love that movie. Father of the Bride (all of them).

Oh, and It's Complicated -- LOVE this movie.

Moulin Rouge
Crazy Stupid Love
Clueless
The Notebook
Les Miserables
10 Things I Hate About You
The Duchess
Marie Antoinette
The Other Boleyn Girl
Across the Universe (is that even a chick click? Idk)
Bridesmaids
Titanic
The Devil Wears Prada
Silver Linings Playbook

I guess I don't consider all of these chick flicks, but I chose them because they're all romantic movies for the most part. I usually prefer more action/fantasy/raunchy comedies, but those are my favorites of the romance variety.

Actually, just count every musical on that list. I don't have time to write them all out, lmao!

P.S. I Love You - I never get tired of it.
Crazy Stupid Love <333333
Yes yes yes to all of these! I love chick flicks :p

A few others that I love -

Pitch Perfect (LOVE)
Mean Girls (I have no shame)
What to Expect When You're Expecting (Didn't expect to like it, it's terrible... but I still found it hilarious)
An Education (Does this count? I guess if Midnight In Paris counts, this does, too)
Easy A (So much love for this and Emma Stone)
The Time Traveler's Wife (Wasn't great, but wasn't bad. I recently rewatched this for no reason and still enjoyed it. I never read the book though!)
Stardust (super corny/cheesy but I think it's adorable)
Juno (love it still!)

Moulin Rouge
Les Miserables
Across the Universe (is that even a chick click? Idk)
Silver Linings Playbook

Actually, just count every musical on that list. I don't have time to write them all out, lmao!
Oh good, I was going to say the same thing!

Definitely add Silver Linings Playbook and all musicals to the list - just finished rewatching Rent and Chicago both today, still love them! Hairspray and Mama Mia are okay, too (although not my favorites).

OH, I forgot...
Ever After and A Cinderella Story. Alright, well, in A Cinderella Story there is the scene on the gazebo with "I'll Be" playing and it makes me swoon.

And Forgetting Sarah Marshall..I guess more of a chick flick comedy?

Titanic
The Devil Wears Prada

These too :D. Musicals? Was Sweeney Todd a chick flick? I liked that too.

Easy A (So much love for this and Emma Stone)
This is a favorite too.

I don't know why I like high school based movies so much.

I don't know if I know the exact definition of a chick flick. I can never tell if people talking about them mean romantic movies, or romantic comedies, or feel-good cheesy movies?

Casablanca - but I feel like "Chick Flick" is a negative B-movie connotation, and this is a cinematic masterpiece. So I dunno.
Dirty Dancing
Blue Valentine - too depressing? IDK.
500 Days of Summer
Love and Other Drugs
The Princess Bride

And really cheesy movies I love:
Save The Last Dance
Saved!
What A Girl Wants - I liked this as a kid. Not sure if I'd like it now.
Step Up
Honey (it got terrible reviews, WHY?)

The Vow was pretty good.

I'm fairly certain the ultimate chick flick is Magic Mike, though.
