THE
RAINBOW BRIDGE
There
is bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called
the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land
of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail animals are made young again. Those
who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day
with each other. There is only one thing missing. They
are not with their special person who loved them on
Earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes when
one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches!
The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one
suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen,and when you and your special friend
meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace.
Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you
look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again
to be separated.

Message From Gina:
I was a bit shy when I met my humans for the first time....
I hid in my kennel, but I knew they weren't going to
go away until they'd seen me. I'd only been in the shelter
for a week, and it was my first day with company - sharing
with a boy called Danny. My mum and dad wanted to take
me out on the lead.... how could I resist? Dad took
me for a run, and I pelted off down the grass slope
nearby, and nearly pulled him over.... mum and dad just
laughed. Mum then took my lead, and they were talking
to the girl who'd been looking after me, I knew I was
going home with them, because we were going towards
the gates to freedom.... I was so excited that I pulled
and pulled on my lead. They wanted to leave me outside
while they bought me some toys and bowls and things,
but I'm nosey, so I had to go in with them! I'm still
nosey now... mum took me to the vets, and I wanted to
go in every single room they had, even trying to follow
the nice vet lady into her medicine room! I've lived
in a couple of different places with mum and dad, and
I've always been very happy. We've always lived near
to parks..... so I get to chase squirries all the time.
I was very thin, and had been through a bad time when
I met my humans, but they helped ,e through, and I don't
have so many bad dreams now.... dad even talks to me
as I go to sleep, telling me stories about sheepies
in the fields, and squirries in the woods, and how fast
I can run so that I can catch them, and he sometimes
tells me stories of cats without claws! Sometimes he
even tells me that I can climb up trees to catch the
squirries and cats..... I love my mum and dad, and I
always miss them when they go to work. I like to have
something of theirs with me when I'm alone.... sometimes
I get into trouble for this, I like to chew mums knickers,
and shoes! I now have a happy and fun life, and I'm
really glad that these humans chose me to be their dog!
My humans always take me with them when they can, and
we all love to go down to the beach in the summer, and
laze on the sand after playing fetch!
Just wanted to let you know I think this is a really
cool website. We've downloaded some of the games and
have had lots of fun with them. I plan on coming here
quite often! Thanks for letting us have fun at your
website!

loyal he loves to herd the sheep and cow's I do not
know what I would do with out him he has become a very
good friend to me and I love him dearly!
hi,i am Elvis Puggy. I am a really cool pug.
I love eating, sleeping, and, uh, eating and sleeping
and resting and, well, I can't think of anything else
i like to do. I live in an apartment complex in san
diego. I know everyone here, and go from apt. to apt.
getting treats and snacks. I am slightly overweight.
I love pizza, tacos, ice cream and cat food. My mom
loves me very much. My best friend is Jacque, the little
girl next door. she sneaks me treats even though my
mom says no!!! my mom does not know about this. Do not
tell her, ok? I have a little brother and a cat named
Scratchy. I love him and we play all day. We get in
all kinds of trouble. He climbed on the table and kicked
the bag of doritos to the floor and then I ate them
all. Yum. Mom was mad. I like to watch animal planet
on tv. I won a photo contest sponsored by expressly
portraits. I am really handsome. I mean, all the women
just drool over me!! My picture is hanging up at expressly
portraits at the mall. Girls just walk by and drool.
I sure am glad i found this website. My paws are getting
tired now, so I better go. Maybe mom will give me a
paw massage.

Duffy is a nine year old cross between a German
Shepard and Sheltie. He is well trained, he knows how
to sit, shake, lay down, and how to roll over. His favorite
activites are playing in the yard, going for rides in
the car, and going for walks. He is the most friendly
dog I have ever met...
Hi! My name is Richie. I am a terribly spoiled
3 1/2 chihuahua/doberman. My tail is cut off. So I barely
have a tail. I love barking, digging, chewing and sitting
in the sunlight. I love looking at the sunsets. I like
eating food and grass. I love my owner. My favorite
thing is howling. I am a first dog. I like barking at
people who pass by the house. Because they might be
calm and light up and shoot! There is another dog I
live with, Perdy. My next door doggy's name is Tiger.
He is deaf. He has one eye. I feel sorry for the poor
fella. And I live in California, SJ. I hope I win. As
with Perdy!
Stoney is a 12 month old golden retriever who
weighs 117 lbs. He likes to spend his time riding his
mom's jet ski and hitches rides on his dad's ATV. Spends
his weekends diving for seaweed and jumping off his
dock. His favoorite trick is raiding the refrigerator,
which he opens himself. Favorite food is vanilla ice
cream cones on Sunday afternoon...
My dog weighs about 70 pounds and has got the most hair
you have ever seen on a dog. His nick name is Rug
because he has more hair than the carpet. He has really
sweet big brown eyes(if you can find them). Nick is
3 years old and still playful as a puppy. He was adopted
from NARF and has been well loved and loving since we
brought him home. He eats like a horse, and loves to
play with his big rope. He rarely ever barks or growls,
but do watch for that tongue. He is very protective
of me when someone is picking on me and has to be locked
in another room when you want to yell at someone. He
is nothing but a big lovable tribble mildly put.
Keiko (kay-co) is a 3 year old german shepherd.
She is sable colored, whitch closely resembles a wolf.
Keiko lives with me and my family along with Elephant,
my 3 year old cat. Keiko loves chasing the squrrels
out of our yard, barking at neighbors, and playing catch.
Her father is a longhaired huge white german shepherd,
her mother a skinny, tall, darksable german shepherd.
Keiko wakes up at 5:00 every morning and demands she
be let out. Laying her head on the bed, and giving me
a look, she lightly whimpers. Her favorite foods are
cheese and hot dogs.
BOO! What you lookin at? My name is Jackie. I
am a full blooded shortcoated Chihuahua. I am a year
old. Ruff!
Mina is the best of her bred, To us. We love
her like a child as she does us. She has protected my
children and myself from snales all this year, We live
in the woods, so we have alot of snakes. But not when
she's around. Everyone assumes that all Pitbulls are
mean. But once you get to know them they are actually
quite loveable.
Driveby was rescued from a dogfighting ring and
spent many months healing. He has turned from the ugly
ducking to the swan, both physically and mentally. Driveby
is a loving protector, frisbee dog, skateboarding dog,
and a rednose submarine (swimming buddy). I created
www.pitbulls.org when I got Driveby, and have since
helped hundreds of fought dogs be rescued with police
officers.

for short, is a doxie-chihuahua who has her own toy
