This is why Keeva still isn't chipped. I have the weirdest, most persistent subconscious needle phobia since having a painful vaccination, and I'm just horrified by the size of the microchip needle. I had my rescued/foster pit bulls boys done at a vaccine clinic. They gave them some lidocaine and neither cried, but... they were pit x's that already survived hell. I just know that Keeva's gonna cry or something, and then I'll pass out. LOL
Blossom was done while she was under for her hysterectomy, which is by far my preference for chipping, LOL. I may honestly just wait to do Keeva's when she gets her OFA x-rays and what not, since she turns 2 in May anyway.
Anyway, poor Zander. That is crazy, they totally butchered that IMO. I have never seen more than a single drop of blood from a microchipping, and none of the dogs I've done personally have even had that. Poor baby.
