Your Definition of a Heart Dog

Exactly what the title says whats your definition of a heart dog and what makes your heart dog your heart dog.

But when it goes into an almost spiritual connection you can feel, when you understand what each other is thinking and feeling, when it becomes an intuative dance without words or commands and into a social "communion" and harmony...it's a beautiful experience which does touch your heart.

The definition of a heart dog for me, is Bella.

Bella's my heart dog, she's a challenge, she's my baby, she's a lover, she's a fighter. She's everything I didn't want in a dog, and everything I did. She may not be the best behaved, but she's my heart dog, and I assume it's because we've gone through so much together.

I love Zoey, and I love Psyche, and I feel a connection with them, I do, but not as strong as Bella. Bella acts like she knows what's going on in my head. I've had a bad day, she offers cuddles, I need a smile, she offers licks, I need a hug, she lays there and lets me hug her.

I can't imagine life without this dog.

Maggie's the first dog that was ever really mine. I love her to pieces, but I've never had another relationship with a dog like I have with her so I can't really compare.

That is so true. I have always loved my pets. But until I got Dekka I never really understood what having a heart dog meant. It is a deep connection, like a soulmate.

It's a bond that is there no matter what . Being able to read each other's mind. Something untouchable but just there. When a look says it all.
