So since I can't stop posting about the standard poodle puppy I am going to be getting hopefully in July, I was wondering who else was waiting to get their puppy. I don't mean thinking about getting a puppy, but have actually taken steps towards getting a puppy, like finding a breeder or something.
What kind of dog are you getting, and when are you supposed to be getting it.

If I am ever to get a pup from a breeder it will be a Sheltie. That probably will never happen though. I'm always running into dogs that need new homes and I will always check out a shelter. I've got a soft spot for the needy.

Yes most deffinately bubbatd!!!
My breeders (I am looking at 2 one I already have met the other I am meeting hopefully next weekend) are in good standing with the CKC(canadian kennel club),and other groups have all championship dogs in confo as well as things like field trails, agility, obedience. They are fully health tested for everything possible. They have huge long questionaires and want to meet anyone who gets a dog from them. Dogs that are not going to show homes and on strict non breeding contracts, and come with (can't remember how long for) health garuantees.

They also only breed once a year or less than that, dogs are all raised in their house, not in kennels, and are fed raw food (B.A.R.F, I believe)
DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE!!

I wish I was, my dog's breeder is breeding my boy's sister again soon but I won't get my hopes up. No chance Mum and Dad will say yes. But if I was allowed I'd definitely get one through her.

I 110% agree Grammy!

I'm getting a Border Collie puppy around the exact same time your getting your Poodle pup, Mystic! My pup is coming from David and Christine Henry of Feildstone Border Collies. Their dogs have placed Internationally and Nationly. Defiantly a breeder I would consider one of the "top" breeders in this breed.

I'm getting a puppy!

I'm waiting for my blue merle rough collie boy to be ready to take home. He's 1 week old at the moment and one of 4 puppies in the litter.

I've been waiting since his conception (even before!) so now there is only 7 weeks to go :)

His name will be Noah, and his registered name I chose as well - "In Rainbows".

I already have two other collies - a shaded sable (Reilly) and a tricolou (Ebony).

Any tips on how to make the time fly! I'm so impatient.

My family is on a waiting list to get a female (black) Doberman pup this spring sometime if the breeding goes as planned. Dance will only be a year old then, but we don't feel that her age will be a problem as she's an exceptionally well behaved/mannered pup. Winston's getting pretty "old" for a Dobie and my parents don't want to be without one, and we've been wanting one of this breeder's pups for a couple years now. :)

This is so exciting, I am hoping to move out before I get my pup, but have to see how my shop goes. Luckily my parents own several appartments and condos for rent so hopefully I can get one off them for much cheaper rent (cheap rent here is like $1000)

Yeah... one that I met was a rescue, shockingly. The other two were from a breeder in Texas. Which is apparently the closest reputable breeder, in the US.

I don't get why there aren't more Koolie people. I think they're amazinggg! I would DIE for a red merle Koolie.

I've been doing my research. I'm going to be getting a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Still figuring out a breeder but I'm almost positive on a breeder that I've been talking to down in southern Virginia. Once I have everything all completely figured out I will post to everyone and keep ya updated.
