I'm pretty sure I know exactly what I'm going to do, but I want to see other opinions as well!
I need to get Mort a friend. He's a 3-4 month old sugar glider joey.
Options:
1. Someone is rehoming a one year old female locally- I could pick her up this week. She's the same color as Mort (standard grey) and has been a single sugar glider who needs a friend as well.
2. I'm in contact with a breeder who has a female who is 4 weeks OOP (out of pouch). I can pick her up at the end of June- she's a white faced blonde, which is a little bit different than a standard grey.
3. Someone is rehoming a female joey locally as well. She's a little bit younger than Mort, and has lived with her parents up to this point. This person isn't sure they're going to separate any of them, though, so this probably won't be a (reliable) option.
So... older rescue, or a little bit different colored joey from a breeder?
