My first pet was a Border Collie named Snoopy. I was 3yrs old when I got him and I have a picture of me sitting on the potty chair in the living room with him in my lap. Dont ask me why I had a potty chair in the living room but I did.. lol Since then I've had a Sheltie, Chocolate Lab, Golden Retriever, German Shepherds, and now Adrienne. I've also had a Macaw, 2 Cockatiels, a Love Bird, 2 Parakeets, and a Quaker Parrot named Broclee.

What was your first pet? :p

My first memory of a dog is a German Shepherd named Penny. We always had dogs in the house. I don't think there ever was a period of time when we didin't

Mine was a cat called Choosy, followed by quite a few more, including my special girl, Missy. Misha is my first dog, I don't know how I lasted so long without one!!

Before my brother and I were born, my folks had a German Shephard/wolf mix....Pero . He was killed when I was very young, but I still remember taking walks in my stroller with him at my side. My mother would walk to the bakery which was on the second floor of a livery stable. I'd watch her go up the spirel stair case , while he guarded me .... I still remember the wonderful smells of the horses and the bread baking. We moved before I was 3 yrs. old, so it's a very early memory !

My first pet was an awesome poodle mix named Whitey. My parents found him hungry and abused in their neighborhood before I was born. He died when I was around 4. He loved me. He wouldn't let my mom let me cry.

Mine was a Border Collie mix named Goldie. She bore my heart dog Bruno. Oh how I loved them. Bruno passed just 3 and 1/2 years ago.

My father had a Shepherd when I was a baby, then when he passed on we got a Great Dane/Shepherd mix. Plus we always had about 10 rabbits, guinea pigs, hampsters, a rooster (until the neighbors got upset, we lived in a subdivision), many cats - we always had at least 5 cats. My first dog I remember doing things with was our border collie mix and Shepherd mix.

My first pet that I can remember was a seal point male Siamese named Suki. We got him when I was about 5 and he was just a little kitten. He was the most gentle cat. I used to dress him up in doll clothes and put him in my doll stroller and he would just sit there so patiently. He was such a gentle soul.:)

A black cat named Minouche, she was around 6 when I was born. She had a terrible character, I remember petting her one night and she clawed me in the eyes... I was lucky because she didn't reach them though, but I was bleeding all around. Fun. Then we got another cat (a stray, the neighbors on the other side of the road moved out and left her there), then two other cats when they both died, including a maine coon mix that I just love who is 12 now and that I will probably never see again, because he's still at my mom in France :( The other one is a calico who has also a pretty bad character, lol.

That's for the family pets, after that I got a miniature pinsher, some degus and chinchillas, then more cats and Boris and Tips.

My first pet was Killer, and I was in kindergarten when I got her. She was a little black netherland dwarf bunny. She was so adorable! But I have to admit, she definately fit her name. She had people she liked, and people she disliked. If she disliked you, you definately knew about it! I originally got her in Hawaii. But when my dad was stationed in Texas, Killer came with us.

After she reached the age of 10, we christened her "the Highlander rabbit," since she seemed to be ageless. At 12 years old, she broke her leg, so we took her to the vet. The vet fixed her leg wonderfully, but was shocked to see such an old rabbit. He said he'd never seen one older than 9.

Killer finally passed at the ripe old age of 14. I was in college when she died, and I swear I cried for a week.

Sadly I have never had a pet of my own. My parents would never get one that I wanted so I would'nt get one at all.
