Zoe is now a year old, and has survived eating:

half a chicken including bones
a butterfly
an entire stick of butter
a ballpoint pen (most of it anyway)
duck poop
stuffing from her toy cow (but not the part that moo'd)
various bugs

What has your dog eaten he or she shouldn't have?

Lilly
Chicken Bones
Ph adjuster for the pool (That required a trip to the ER vet)
Plastic Wrap (and the pound of hamburger within)
Radar
The poop of everything he can find (But the worst he ever got from that was worms.)

Besides various wild animal poop and other dog poop, bugs, also a cube of butter.... and such (I don't consider those things too dangerous) Lyric has eaten cooked chicken bones without apparent incident. The other dogs really haven't eaten anything too dangerous that I can recall. Oh wait! Chuli ate pieces of a pig's ear and was very ill...thought I'd lose her. That's when she was very young, before I knew better than to give those things. She had bloody diarrhea and throwing up for 24 hours and miraculously recovered. Very scary. Those things are sharp. I should have known better in the first place.

Meg ate a one-pound bag of Twizzlers (plus 10% more free!) last week; she's also eaten an entire large loaf of cheddar cheese bread, and a bunch of smaller things she's found here and there. A few rodents.

Not only has she not died, I have yet to see this dog have even the slightest bit of diarrhea. She has got an iron stomach!

Harmony ate a one pound bag of hershey kisses that she found when I was at work a few years back. She felt the effects and it was sparkly. I had a heart attack when I came home. Everything else was minor compared to that event.

My dog ate the couch and lived. Not that the couch was dangerous. That's not what makes her a "survivor". What makes her a "survivor" is she is lucky I didn't kill her with my bare hands.

-Blue once got into my three sisters Easter chocolate and we were spoiled that year we had gotten so much chocolate. He ate it all. Several 1-pound rabbits, large hollow rabbits, hundreds of chocolate eggs. We took him to the vet and they kept him for a while and all he had was diarrhea(sp?).

Blue, I am ashamed to admit this, but a number of years ago, my cats ran off with an entire chicken carcass and hid it so well I couldn't find it. They did bring it back one bone at a time, snickering each time. Hiding is their skill.

My dogs munch on the pecans that fall from the trees on my ranch. (I believe they do it to spite the squirrels!)

Milla (in my pic) ate an extra large bag of bacon flavored dog treats (a Christmas gift from a well intentioned friend), bag and all......and it didn't bother her in the least.

Twist ate my housecoat when he was a pup.

Snickers (boxer) ate a toad in one bite....that was really gross.

Rylie killed a $1400 laptop... she chewed on the charger... I stupidly plugged it in, and it fried the motherboard :yikes:

Rylie has also chewed the cord to a heating pad, and several ethernet cords... she used to like cords as a puppy.

Madison has eaten a LV wallet... and a belt.

Chloe's been good... so far.

We had a dalmatian when I was growing up... she used to eat hair scrunchies, socks, and cloth headbands... Her poop always had twists of fabrics through it =/
