My screen is all smudged and . . . bleeeeh. What products out there work when it comes to cleaning computer screens? I'm afraid to try anything in my household cleaning cupboard.

I just wipe it with the cloth I use to clean my glasses. No spray or anything. But that probably won't work if you spray your drink on your screen after reading something funny. Luckily I'm more of a chuckler.

I've always used Windex...but I have an ancient monitor, not flat-screen coolness :rofl1:

So you mean you can use vinegar and alcohol and a cloth on an LCD monitor? I've just been using canned air and that doesn't do the trick very well.

White vinegar and isopropyl alcohol, yes. Other types of vinegar and alcohol aren't good for the screen.

Acetone and what not is horrible for the screen. There's a whole list out there of stuff you shouldn't use on LCDs.
