Whats the best and quickest way to lose weight? I've heard some things from my BFF, she went from a size 10 pants to a size 00 in 4 months :eek:
So I was thinking about using her idea...
But I wanted to see what yall though.

Was she using the bulimec heroin diet?! That's nuts! The only other person I know who lost that much weight in that little time was on a ton of drugs and never slept. At your age you need to talk with a doctor before starting any sort of diet. You have to make sure that you will still be getting the right amount of nutrients and calcium otherwise you'll be skinny, but sick as hell.

Ok one I have NO kinda money like that. I have a front yard, a very quiet road, a dog to chase but sleeps most of the time LOL, and thats about it.
So I have to exercise 5 days a week and 2 hours each week?? How long will that take to lose about 40 lbs?? B/c soccer starts soon and I need to lose some wieght honey.

No my BFF exercised everyday for about 3 hours a day, and ran 4 miles a day for 4 months. Thats how and she watched what she ate. NO MY FRIEND DIDN'T TAKE NO DRUGS AND SHE SLEEPS MORE THAN A BEAR!!!

Oooh ooh i just lost ALOT of weight. I lost alot of it after we got Pixie because i take her for 2 long walks and 2 more short walks a day. Also I have been eating less you know moderating it. I have been told I look ALOT better ( I have a belly buldge and thats whats going away) and am extremly happy with my weight loss and hope to continue.

Start practicing your soccer . . . even if it's just you dribbling and running and maneuvering in the yard! That will burn a ton of calories. Working out with moderate weights will help you lose the inches and get into shape faster. You won't see the weight loss on the scales so much, because muscle is more compact and weighs more than fat, but you'll see the difference with a tape measure, in your clothes, and in the way you feel.

Calm down Dakotah, I wasn't actually accusing her of anything. ;)

The way your friend did it is probably the easiest/best way. Plus, soccer will do a lot for you, so I wouldn't worry about being in total shape before hand. I played soccer a lot when I was younger so I do know what I'm talking about.

1. NO starvation diets! When you starve, your body goes on survival mode and makes the absolute most of every calorie. It actually becomes harder to lose weight.
2. Eat 3 meals a day, at least. Frequent meals increase metabolism.
3. Exercise more.
4. Eat appropriate serving sizes, according to package guidelines. You might be surprised by how much a "serving" actually is.
5. Drink only no-calorie drinks. Give up the sugared sodas and juices. My mom's boss lost 15 lbs just by doing that.

I will pratice more soccer, run, and watch what I eat. OMGosh I love to run but I can't run no where much. Thanks you guys!!!
I have muscles, in my calves, but NO i mean NO arm,upper leg, or tummy muscles. I am told I'm not fat but I think I am. I'm 5'6" and I weight...oh gosh I can't say.

I know Gaddy. My right knee is sorta messed up from playing soccer 3 years ago, and then turning around and playing softball the last 2 years. It was messed up and I didn't let it heal before I played softball. But its just when I move it or if I keep it in the smae postion long and then move it, it pops and it hurts. But I'm hoping running and giving it time to heal might help.

I have really bad knees....not because of running, just because. It stinks.

My sisters knows people who have been joggers....and they've all gotten or are getting knee surgery done. :eek:

here is a thing I jst thought you can do:

Run one mile for two days
Run two miles non-stop, maybe one small break, after those two days, and run two miles for four days, and keep going up one number, but always two more days

Try and find some trails to run on that aren't paved. It's easier on the knees and makes you use more muscles than if you were just running on pavement.
