So Webby turned 5 earlier this month.
^Trying to peak ahead over the hill on his birthday. But he's only five and is not over the hill yet, no matter what all his grey hairs may say.
See? Premature greying. He says he looks distinguished.
Anyway so Webby like going places. Any place it doesn't matter he just like going there. And once he's there he just can't wait to go somewhere else. It doesn't matter if we go to his most favorite place in the whole world, if we take a step toward the car he is running around it in circles and dancing with excitement because we are going somewhere and it might just be even better.
Optimism incarnate.
He loves going places so much that if I leave the door to the garage open and my car door open (say the weather is nice and I'm cleaning out things or packing up the car for a trial weekend) Webster will sneak out into the car and stay there for hours all by himself just in case it's time to go.
"Hey where are you guys going...car's over here...seriously guys...right here..."
Also, Webby and my spouse come very close to sharing their birthdays. Just days apart. And my spouse has been wanting to take Webby bicycling with him since...well pretty much since we got Webster back in 2008.
So the in-laws got together and we got them both a like-new dog trailer to pull behind the bicycle. I'm not sure who is most pleased, but Webster's feeling right at home already.
"Are you going to pull this thing or what? I don't have all day..."
I've threatened to install a secret Web-cam p) to make sure Webster is not eating 5 lbs of bacon every time they go bicycling...they tend to bike about 4-5 days a week and on the weekend they bike to a breakfast place that's about 30 miles away...with outdoor seating...yeah Webster is never going to leave that trailer again I can see it already...
