They took a very long time reading through all the profiles and there were a lot of dogs there. Then they told us to "parade" around the store. So we are making are way when the lady in front of me tries to step around some dung that a dog (AND his owner) left in the middle of the isle. She slipped on the urine that was beside it and fell, trying to catch herself on the display, before she went all the way down on her knee. She hit quit hard. I asked what i could do to help and she said to get her husband so Vic and i made quick steps back to the front of the store, told him and led him back to where she was. By the time we made it back up they were looking for us. We accepted our prize as i told the manager what happened. IT was such a shame, why why why do people allow their dogs to do that in the store then above all walk off and leave it!??? I felt so bad for her. There were alot of dogs there, and some were getting way to hot, one little overweight beagle in a pumpkin suit had a tongue hanging out and was panting hard. You have to wonder about some owners, but others were really too cute. An overlarge sheltie had on a prison striped suit with cereal boxes attached that had plastic knives sticking out, guess what she was..then their was tiger woods complete with golf bag. A ballerina boxer complete with tutu. Elvis the bulldog, and a half dozen lobsters and ladybugs. One cat was dressed as a piece of candy corn. Vic just stood there in his glasses and with his bucket and scrubs looking at everything with disbelief. I TOLD him he wasn't the only dog dressing up,...but nobody else wore glasses, or had a bucket.

I have no cell phone, no digi, sorry blue, i don't have film money either. I am really glad to get that gift certificate, half a bag of dog food there. Maybe they will post one on their site. If they do i will grab the link. Victor liked his bag of cookies, and he never likes anything so that was nice too. btw the prison dog with the cereal boxes...cereal killer

at Petco's halloween costume contest today. He got a bag of treats and a 15 dollar gift certificate and a little blue ribbon. Plus he collected 11 more dollars for the humane society while he was there.
I would have been surprised if anyone could beat that cute costume. He looks absolutely adorable!
We are going to go down to the plaza and give it one more go. He has collected 200 dollars at this point so carrying a bucket has ended up being quite profitable for the humane society and the gift certificate is timely for me as well. Thanks for the thanks. Maybe i will tie his little blue ribbon to his bucket. Mary enjoyed some of his treats today as well. If i can get any lazy member of my family to go with me, then she can come too. If anyone else ever wants to do this costume there is a pair of harrypotter glasses out there that have extra long temples. I found our pair at the thrift store, and the temple pieces hook right behind his ears which helps hold them in place. They are light weight and he doesn't mind them a bit. THe glasses in our avatar i know now came from a superman costume. They are the ones that broke on us when i was putting them on for the pfl contest. They do not work well.
