I did a search and I could not find anything. Perhaps we could do toy reviews here?

I was making up some kongs to freeze for Ella and I had some left overs so I pulled out her Genius Leo and stuffed that.

I want to review this toy. I could not be MORE PLEASED with this toy. It's cute, durable, and FUN. Ella is a relatively calm dog. She's not a destructo-dog, so I was able to get away with getting her a regular leo for her and not an extra leo. Anyway, it comes with instructions and a cute tag and it tells you all the neat things you can do with your leo.
I'm telling you, freezing a leo (which, yes, you can freeze them like kongs) turns the toy into something else! It is SOOO challenging for a dog to get all the food out. Expensive? Yes, for a toy, yes it is expensive, BUT worth every penny, I think. If you have a dog that you have to give something while he/she is crated, get a Genius Leo and FREEZE IT. Your dog will be busy for HOURS, trust me. My ONLY gripe is the price.

Question. What does the Leo feel like? Anything like the orbee material, or more like a kong? My dogs love the squishy toys (and puppy kongs) but aren't wild about hard rubber.

The regular ones are a softer (but still durable) rubber. Not hard like kongs, but not sticky squishy like orbees either. They're the perfect inbetween.

OH! Another toy review!

Orbee! Ella LOVESLOVESLOVES her Orbee! And I love it. It bounces better than any Kong, Orka Jack, or cuz ball I've ever thrown. It smells good even after she's been chewing on it.

I LOVE ORBEE.

I've gotta try the Leo now, lol!

x2 for the Orbees. My dogs have the orbee bones (they love them, very squishy and floppy but not instantly killable) the balls (orbees have replaced tennis balls in our house!) and the frisbees, which are 1092387643546 times better than the Kong frisbee for my alligator dog. Plus, yes, they smell awesome. And my dogs can squish them over and over, and they never die!

Eve is so in love with her orbee ball that she won't play with anything else for very long before she starts looking for the orbee.

Are your dogs destructive chewers? you could try a Leo extra, if they aren't, then try a regular Leo. They even make them for dogs under 15 lbs.

I haven't used Ella's Leo too much with her because it's not the easiest thing to freeze and I don't put too much dry food in toys anymore. I wanted to try the Leo one more time for freezing because eating out of a frozen toy gives Ella something to do while I study, like today.

I have a Canine Genius Leo - pretty neat! The dogs ignore it unless it has treats inside though.

Ilsa plays with her Orbees, but only if I throw them for her and get her excited about them.

My dogs are pretty hardcore chewers, but they're gentle with certain toys. The pooch ball for example, has survived here for nearly a month. But the same dogs have chewed up black kongs, so I never know what they're going to kill and what they'll be gentle with. The orbee bones eventually wind up being destroyed, too, but they get chewed on every day and still last a long, long time with my monsters.

One thing about the orbee balls, if you live in a warm climate, do not leave them outside in the sun. They melt into orbee pancakes, though Dakota still played with his long after it was warped.

I have to go find a Leo now! I think Lucy would go nuts for that. Millie, too, as long as there were interesting treats in there.
Unfortunately, I'm as broke as broke can be, so it'll have to wait. The dogs may disagree, but I'd rather save my money for food at this point rather than toys.

HMM I have dogs that can destroy the black kongs in no time. Do you think these are as or more durable?

I've never heard of these Leo's before! They look pretty great, I'll have to check that out.

I love love LOVE Orbee's though! The bone that Sierra just got for her birthday has quickly become one of her favourite toys (it doesn't make noise, so I don't know if it'll ever top her list). It's SUPER durable, and how can you go wrong with minty-goodness instead of doggy slobber smell?

Have you tried any of the West Paw zogoflex toys?

I do not know. I ordered Ella an Leo extra yesterday, though. I can report back with how tough the material feels. I don't think they're quite as hard as kongs.
But if you freeze them...they're awesome.

Here's Ella eating out of her teal one (no, it was not frozen):

And you can fit a TON of stuff in them. I would say that you could fit more in one of these than you could into an XXL kong.
I fit half a cup of kibble, half a can of dog food, yogurt, and beef heart into the one I stuffed yesterday.:D
