I swear every single time I get something "fixed" or manageable with these two dogs something else comes up!
Poor Buzzer has hotspot-like things on his chest/neck area and inside his left rear leg. They were oozy and gooey and painful and itchy and nasty yesterday. This morning they're looking better after being shaved, sprayed with someRichard's Organics Incredible Skin Spray, and being dosed with Benadryl. Poor guy is still recovering from his last bout of a nasty allergy flare.
Bailey's got a mass in the muscle in her right elbow. It's bothering her. All regular vets refuse to work on it because of the involvement of other important things, like nerves and blood vessels and stuff. So I scheduled an appointment with a surgeon specialist ($$$$) that I have to take a day off work to make it to... and she comes up lame on her left rear leg. So we're going to visit Dr. Julia on Monday, her surgery is scheduled for Friday. Oh, and the next Saturday we have to do a two part blood draw on Buzz to test his thyroid panel because he was soooo hypothyroid it's recommended we get a T4 at the trough (12 hours post pill) and then draw for a panel 5 hours after he gets his am med.
I swear, some days I wish I could just not care.
I love them, I really, really, really do. I'm just frustrated. And I want candy for lunch!
