Okay so in the UK we have to do a thing called Trident
the most well known part of the scheme is the 'Work experience', where we have to apply for a work experience at any business,
we have to work for 3 weeks, 1 must be taken out of our holidays
we dont get paid bt its the experience we're in it for.
Then there is the 'Community Involvement' part which is were we have to volunteer to do something that will benefit the community, and we have to work 15 hours.
I'm planning on working at the local animal shelter with the dogs
Then there is the 'Personal Challenge' where we have to set ourselves a challenge where we learn something, and we have to write a diary or report about it as we go.
For this i plan on hatching a chicken egg and raising it
If we complete all of these then we get the trident gold award, which only about 5% of students get.
So that is what i'm going for
most people just get the work experience award and don't go for the other two, but i really will enjoy doing both the other parts so should be fun
has anyone on here done this before or do you do anything similar??
