Bejeweled on facebook isn't working at the moment & I can't find my phone charger.

*is annoyed*

I should probably be doing something productive anyway, like studying, cleaning my room or finding my phone charger...but I don't want to!!

Had a MAJOR annoyance at the college this morning. Wanted to punch somebody.

Now I'm supposed to e-mail the director of the program for some stupid reason and I don't even know what to say. "Hi Doc, I'm only e-mailing you because the pamphlet says I should, so here's my e-mail! Yay! XOXO Beanie"

I am just about to begin really watching what I eat, healthier choices and all that and then I discover... gourmet yoghurt.

Full fat
Delicious
Energy dense
Addictive
Completely impossible for me to stop eating :p

Why now? Stupid timing.

This is my minor rant of the day.

Im on the other end of the weight spectrum. I lost weight since being pregnant. My original weight was 140. They were hoping I'd gain 5 pounds by now. Instead of being 145 like I should be I am 135. I also apparently look like death. My doctor gave me this strange look and asked if I was eating properly and taking my vitamins because apparently I look like death. Im ghostly pale (but what's new Im white to begin with) and have dark circles under my eyes.

Despite 3/4 of the city being without power, the water treatment plant being down due to the power, every other school an most businesses in town being closed including the college, the massive flooding and abandoned cars and the state of emergency being declared... The university is still open and running... i picked the wrong school.

I just found out that one of my coworkers who does the same job as me, has the same amount of education, and was a new grad when she started work 6 months ago makes more money than me. I've been there for 2 years now. Oh and don't think it's because I don't ASK for raises, because I have been asking for one since last July. I am scheduled to get one on May 1... but still it will not be much more than my new coworker is making. And much less than what everyone else is making.

How I found out this little tidbit of information is quite interesting as well. It was placed next to my stuff in the staff room.. right next to my purse... with that information right on top. It was meeting minutes from the bosses meeting last month when they were trying to decide who would get raises. Like someone intended for me to see it... but I find that hard to believe and would rather believe that someone was just careless.

I've been considering leaving this job for a little while now. One of the reasons I've wanted to leave is that they don't seem willing to budge on negotiating some form of maternity leave, not even short term disability that I would pay for myself but that I cannot get on my own. Why do I still work for them? Because I like my job, I enjoy going to work each day. I know that's not something I will always have wherever I go. Also, the other benefits are pretty good. But after I found out how they've stiffed me... I just don't see the point anymore. :(

Yeah, this is a little more than a minor rant, but I don't feel like taking the risk of making a thread for it. It's enough to just get it off my chest.

I have one to add today....

First... my carpet cleaner breaks on me :O the scrubbers don't move anymore and after spending like two hours cleaning the whole thing out and trying to take it all apart to get to the area that controls the scrubbers I eventually give up because it just wasn't going to come apart. Now I'm all stiff from sitting on the floor and my fingers are killing me from trying to pry it all apart.

I get hannah from school and come home. Brian is out setting his sights for turkey season. Well while he's out doesn't all hell break loose. Hannah is grumpy (because she didn't sleep very well last night... I got about 3 hours of sleep) and can't decide what the heck it is that she wants and is having meltdowns about nothing and there's nothing I can do about it.

the little brats next door are barking at my dogs so the dogs are barking back which then makes Hannah scream at the top of her lungs (not really sure what that is all about but she does it all the time and I can't get her to stop) So I go outside and wrangle the dogs inside.

Get inside to discover belle stepped in a nice fresh pile of CRAP and walked over the carpet I just FRIGGING CLEANED WITH MY BROKEN CLEANER.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I need alcohol.

I went rock climbing on the beach to work off some steam.. And when I get to the top and Place my hand down to pull myself up.. my hand landed in FRESH seagull sh*t.. Safe to say I almost fell off the cliff, and the steam that i worked off, came back twice as bad..

Im very PO'd at the minute.. I HATE seagulls. They are so gross, and i went and touched its fresh crap.. Lovely. :/

I hate math.

I also am not a big fan of science. In fact my science ACT scores somehow managed to be lower than my math scores. I haven't even started my chemistry review. I'm sort of not thinking about it. The math is bad enough.

And my assessment is Thursday after work.
Ugh.

I have to take apart the whole ferret cage and do a major clean tomorrow. this could be avoided if Rogue was not going through a stage where he refuses to use the litterbox 100% of the time. He goes in it 50% of the time.. every other time he goes in front of it
That cage is really heavy and big. I am not looking forward to taking it apart, it took 2 hours to put together :(

Oh they are lucky I love them...

My minor rant. I finally get into a situation where I can get a second dog, think I have everything all worked out. Start officially looking (after years of unofficially looking) and now I'm super torn between 2 breeds I've always loved.
Not the worst thing in the world but CUMMON! I've been waiting for 4 years, I thought I had it all worked out.
