would these leads be good for a lead-chewer? Popper chewed through a leather leash in the amount of time it took me to turn around and tell my mom thanks for dinner, cya later... i've tried soaking his nylons in bitter apple (worthless), fooey (slightly more effective, but now he likes the taste apparently), and in the end, he has a chain leash. I hate using chain because when he walks under Roofus it can hurt Roo.

BAH!

I want to order more.

FYI..... I ordered a ton of leads.... I'm thinking though, that I might need to get a few more slip leads for when dogs are being boneheaded so I don't have to carry the two I have around the house with me. These are gorgeous. They don't hurt your hands if you have pullers (GOD SEND, let me tell you..... Shye pulls and one walk with a regular lead made my hand sore on all fingers and form and BREAK blisters on two fingers). The next day, I got... AND USED my Ella's leads.... my hand was in heaven!
So, now I just have to find out who I know that has dogs and walks their dogs.... so I can pass along the good news.

I read the idea about having one hook for the collar and another on a harness. If Shye can't quit pulling on his collar, I'm gonna have to put him in a harness... so hmmm. The interest is piqued.

Aw, thank you!!!

I get a TON of questions about rope burn. And I completely understand first time buyers' concerns with rope burn. But I can assure you with 99% certainty, it won't happen. I have had one customer in the past year complain about a lead hurting her hand. I simply made her a new lead in a different rope type, and she is completely happy now.

When a dog pulls, or lunges, a person will feel discomfort in their hands to some degree, but our leashes, imo, minimalize that discomfort when compared to flat nylon and leather leashes.
And I think that's partially due to the roundness of the rope and how it fits better in the human hand.
That, and we use high quality ropes that are mainly made to be used by/in the human hand.:D

I totally agree - all my leads from Ella's Lead are superbly comfortable (except for my 8' Neon Yacht lead - that's a funky rope, I must say!"

I REALLY want an Ella's Lead but I probably wont be able to get one til the end of this year, possibly around Christmas or beginning of next year, simply cause dad said if i wanted one I had to pay for it.
But if I get money before hand I will be getting one. :)

they are HUGE, aren't they???

I'm glad you like them, though.
I hope Mr. Ronin has a blast dragging it around!:D

Woo, I finally have a job. I really need to buy my shoes first (I actually have thumb sized holes in the bottom of them now lol) then guess who's getting a lead.

Hillside said it all, and to be honest, I think it is great to support home business's as well(I don't think there are enough home/family run business's).

By the way,

I have never recieved a compliment on a lead before(I myself, never pay attention to things like that!)...until one of the dogs wore their Ella's Lead;).
