she must be made of tuff stuff..my stepdaughter has 9 and now has some serious health problems related to so many births..she is a great mother tho and her children are well behaved, talented, her house incredibly organized..she has come along ways in her life..isn't it amazing how much all of the girls of the family shown above look like mom and the boys like dad?

I was thinking the same thing smkie. I saw them interviewed on GMA last week and they seem like a lovely family. I almost (almost) envy them.

wooo... madness!

Could not cope with that many kids! Bodhi is enough hard work for me at the moment ;) And not being at all religious, I find that a little extreme...

Doesn't do much for the world over population!

Each to their own I suppose.

Can't imagine that! I grew up as the oldest of six, and that seemed like a lot. The year that I finished high school, my youngest brother started kindergarten - my poor mom was only halfway through!

I also think it doesn't help with the problem of over population, but then, the USA isn't facing that problem yet. What we need to do is help the less developed countries with the population booms going on. I.e. African countries where so many kids used to die at young ages that families have a dozen kids just to make sure enough live to adulthood, then reach the developed stage where kids aren't dying at such a rate but the births continue. There's no need here in the USA for families of that size.
