Hmm, I think we have the Harry Potter series (though I've never read them!) and I have the entire Janet Evanovich "Stephanie Plum" series and read them yearly, lol.

...Remind me not to read this thread before going to bed. I had a dream about Harry Potter last night.

And my dream would have made a better final book than the one J.K.R wrote. :p

I have all of LOTR - books and special extended edition movies (we just watched them all this past week took.)

Chronicles of Narnia

All of Christopher Moore's books (I think). No, just checked. I'm missing 3 of them :(

Justin has all the star wars books  :)

We have the Wheel of Time series.

As for TV series, I think Justin owns all of the tv show 24 so far. We also have Arrested Development.

Robert has all of the Karate Kid movies, and all of the Fraggle Rock episodes that have made it to DVD so far. I don't know if they are all there yet.

Hmmm...well to my knowledge I have all but 3 of Robin Hobb's books (her newest series, which I heard wasn't very good).

I have the whole Temeraire series (dragons + Napoleonic War = surprisingly good).

I have the whole Death Gate Cycle, Sovereign Stone, and Darksword Trilogy books from Margarett Weiss and Tracy Hickmann, but I don't own all their books because there's a ridiculous amount of them.

I own the whole RAMA series, but again the author writes more than just that so I don't own all his stuff.

And I own the whole Song of Ice and Fire series except for his newest book. I wished I owned that as well but....

I own nothing on DVD lol. Not many movies I want to watch twice, let alone own a DVD of.

Edit:
I think my friend almost had all the Sweet Valley ones
My sister does have all the Sweet Valley ones (even the University ones) and the Baby Sitter Club books (plus the game) and she's read every single one of them. I don't know how many there are, but I've seen the box she keeps them in and it's quite large.

I used to own the Hardy Boys books but gave them to my cousin.

I own the complete DVD set of Strangers With Candy. I almost have a complete DVD set of the Golden girls.

I have complete series of A Series of Unfortunate Events, Wrinkle in Time, and I know I have another full series but I can't remember what it is . . . I'll have to look when I get home.

In terms of books the series I have are:
The Earth Children Series by Jean M. Auel
The Dark Tower series by Stephen King
I used to have the Black Stallion series as a kid. I'm sure my mom still has them packed up in a box somewhere. :D

Since we have the luxury of having only 1 channel in our house we buy a lot of DVD's, but the only complete series that we have are:
The Big Bang Theory
How I Met Your Mother
Greek
Planet Earth
Shark Week

Can't believe I missed this thread! Lemme see. My DVD collection is laughable, but I have an unhealthy obsession with books. I own the full sets of:

-Jean Auel
-Harry Potter
-Laura Ingalls Wilder-ish stuff -- All the "Little House" books, plus the later series about her daughter Rose and her mother Caroline. (Yes, I also collect children's books).
-Sidney Taylor -- "All of A Kind Family"
-C.S. Lewis' Narnia
-Robert Jordan -- The Wheel of Time series
-Anne MacCaffery's Dragonriders collection
- Phillip Pullman -- His Dark Materials
-Tolkein -- His series on Middle Earth, including the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the recently released compilations of some of his other scribblings, like the Children of Hurin
-Tom Clancy -- series on Jack Ryan, Op Center and Splinter Cell.
-Mercedes Lackey -- The Oathbreakers, Heralds of Valdemar, Bardic Voices, Gryphons, Elemental Masters and Dragon Jousters.
- Daniel Defoe's works, including "Robinson Crusoe"
- Shakespeare. Very big shelf, LOL.
- Homer -- The Iliad and The Odessy
- All the novels based on the Halo video game
- Naomi Novik -- "Her Majesty's Dragon"
- Jack White's Templar series
- Raymound Khourey series
- Dan Brown's books
- O. Henry
- James Herriot
- E.E. Knight -- "The Age of Fire"
- W.E.B. Griffin -- The Presidential Agent series
- A few seperate series of X-Men novels.
- Louisa May Alcott
- Edgar Allen Poe
- Douglas Adams

I have some series/collections that are almost there, but I won't count those until they're fully done. I need more bookshelves, LOL.

Lost, Heros, 24 for DVDs (If you're not counting movies sets like Indiana Jones/Star Wars/etc)

Books? Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Abhorsen, Narnia, LOTR, Dune, every single one of Neil Gaiman's novels... I could go on forever with sci-fi/fantasy book series!
