This could be in training or general but I really wanted to embed this video.

Ya know, Logan's totally fire around fireworks and gunshots. And it didn't require yanking him around on a prong and scaring the **** out of him. Those poor dogs :(

Oh my gosh. :(

I don't even understand how anyone could think that would be an effective method of proving that fireworks aren't anything to be scared of. Those poor dogs!

Comments and ratings disabled surprisingly, so I flagged it as violent and repulsive

Here here! Some days I question whether my childhood companion was incredible brave, or incredibly stupid, we had to restrain her by the collar every 4th to prevent her from chasing those rolling army tank ones (I miss those days, those were my favorites), she actually loved the fireworks, and probably would have loved to have gone hunting too.

Ugh...remind me never to drink the KoolAid.
Just be majorly allergic like me, then you have to question them every time so you know if it's "the good stuff" or not ;).

Wow. Just wow.

I do think that video miiight have been posted to publicize the crap this guy puts dogs through given the comment from the poster about it being taken with permission. They wouldn't be worried about people thinking it was taped without said permission unless they knew it would cause backlash...

Recently a video was released spycam style(nonconsent, through the bushes) and although the training was rough I had trouble stomaching that kind of filming.

This amazes me, the trainer(s) have agreed and encouraged this publicity as if there is any pride to be had with this. Not only is it abusive but it is obviously relatively ineffective.

I especially love the douchebags comment with something like if you think your dog will break stand in front of them like "I will beat your ass if you move".

All my dogs would learn from that is that when fireworks go off, I will suddenly transform into a giant scary demon-thing that will attack them for no apparent reason. :(

I take back my thought that this was done to publicize bad training after I watched the "bitework" videos. Putting a puppy who is all of 3 months old into defense seems like the absolute WORST idea EVER, and these people are why some think schh/IPO is bad. >.<
