This was a coverup, want to get it darkened gradually, Sophie is a dark brown brindle. The backstory to getting this one. It took a couple hours so I had a book. These two guys come swaggering in, talking on their phones " Yeah ahm in the tattoo place right now, yeah ahm gettin' it". Bubba whips off his manly shirt and lays down. He's still on the phone "Yeah I'm get...woww, yep I'm getting itoh man that stings...oh, hey man I'll ow be callin ya back ah". His buddy looks over at me and says " Hey that lady's reading a book...". Same buddy came over later to admire it and was like THATS YOUR DOG??? Oy that I look like a Yorkie sort of person i suppose:p

I love all the dog-themed tatts! I really want one for my next addition.

My leg piece is my most recent addition...

And my cat, his tail wraps around onto the top of my hand...

I have more but those are my favorites. :)

Love all the tattoos! I would love to see the owl drawing that artist did Cthulhu! I love owls and the style is really cool

I don't have any sadly. BUT I was thinking of maybe doing a ribcage tattoo once I find the right artist

and Laur, butterfly tattoo wise.. I knew a girl who had a few just like this (SUPER realistic) and they were both unique and very pretty! They weren't monarchs though.. I wish I had a picture but they were other species that she liked and it just looked awesome
The owl is really cool. It's hard to explain though. It has deer antlers and is standing on a book. That's all i remember

Have a few tats, but no pictures. Macabre, black and gray jaguar-snake done across my shoulders is the most prominent piece. Would really like to have some stuff done by Paul Booth one of these days. I love his style, would kill for a full back piece. Been working on concept art for a "steampunk taxidermy" piece, but haven't decided where I'm going to put it if I ever get it done...

Ooh I really like that!

I've tried putting stuff in the wings too but haven't come up with anything I really like.

I'm definitely not creative so don't even know if this is feasible or how it would look XD

But you could always do something like this

Obviously a pic not a tattoo lol. But where the white is you could always do a papillion outline instead of of just the spots and maybe incorporate other things that remind them of you.

ETA: Actually after looking at that again and thinking it over ignore that I don't know if it would turn out that great... Oh well I tried XD

@sassafrass You have some really nice work. I love the celtic pieces!

@ThoseWordsAtBest Holy crap Batman. Those pieces are sweet. You found a really good artist. Or multiple. Either way, I love the leash and rose combo.
Thanks! Same guy. I've been following him for years and years, though I will say every one at his shop is amazing and I wouldn't mind getting tattooed by any of them. The leash/rose is even more impressive considering the hot mess of an old tattoo he had to cover.

I will have each one of my boy's footprints done on my back, as if walking up my spine.

I also want "Gig'em" done in honor of my dad. I just need to get it all incorporated together.

This is a crappy picture, but this is my tat of Sukari. She always had one ear forward and one ear back, as if there was something always behind her talking to her. lol

Amazing tattoos guys!! I'm planning to get a music note behind my ear, "believe" on my wrist, and lyrics (not sure which) on my lower back or front hip bone area, all the way across.

I only have 2.

My first was an inside joke, but since I no longer speak to the people who would understand the joke, I've decided to just tell people that it's a tribute to my dogs, since they are like a mixture of a fox and a hound :p

This is a tribute to my fuzzy face, Nika:

These are not the best quality pictures in the world. It is surprisingly hard to take pictures of your own calves. Anyway.

Greyhound dag

Roxy dag

The White Hound - aka Squash dag (photobombing his own tribute lol)

Dag footies

Current dags... Pip (who looks like he is pooping out a mole on my leg), Maisy, Squashies
Those are really cool but, geez, how many legs do you have!? lol. I am guessing you just have ink on every single side of your legs but as I was scrolling down there were just more and more calf tattoos. Haha. Neat tats, I really like tattoos even though I only have 2.

I just have one so far.... Two penguins on my wrist that I drew up. I plan on getting one more at the end of summer. I want to get one to represent Ollie and Shakespeare, but I'm not sure how I want them represented yet. I would LIKE to get an outline of a dog with silly ears and a ferret prancing around the dog. I also would *like* a quote down my ribs, but I don't know if I want to commit to that much yet.

So, I currently have 1 and have plans for 2, possibly 4 (or more)

Here is mine which I got in 2008 I think, it most certainly won't be my last but I'm being picky about my next one. It's from the anime Naruto, it's an ANBU symbol which is an assassin organization. It's quite possible that arm is going to be dedicated to my favorite anime, if I can figure out how to make them all blend together :)

My next tat will be of my last three pets though but I can't figure out how to do it. I'd enlist the help of my cousin who is a tattoo artist (he did this one and will be doing most of my others) but they meant a great deal to me and I want the design all to myself.
