I know we have a few folks in the mid west so I figured why not? The dog was taken this morning 9/26/11 and was seen being driven away in a van. I'm working on getting a chip or tat number and any info I can on the van and direction he was taken.

His owner Al is the president of the American Working Dogs Federation.

I hope he gets his dog back soon. I don't know the details, i don't know Al that well, just go to see his dog and he judged a trial for us and i've met him at various events. He's a good guy. Can't believe someone would drive up and steal his dog.

Hex's body was found this morning outside of the training field. His collar had been removed and his body left on the road side where his owners would find him.

I can't say how much crap like this troubles me.

i so wanted a good ending to this story but it did not end well very very sad that poor man and his dog. sounds like to me it was someone in the sport or the breed who was angry at him for something.
