I had one of those orange toys they have to roll around to get the food out of, but Ozzy chewed a hole in that one instead of rolling it around 
I can't remember the name of it. I've used the Kong wobblers and the simpler toys they have to work at. He figures them out pretty quickly, but it's more tiring to shove the ball around than it is to just eat out of a bowl.
As for chews, really I give them anything. I have a few deer and one elk antler left laying around. The elk is about to be tossed, it's getting to small for the big dogs, and Oz doesn't chew them. Bully sticks are a bit of a waste of money. They eat those in under two minutes.
