I'm currently planning a rather large dragon on my shoulder. Its something I drew and came up with on my own, so I'm rather proud of him, though I don't have any pictures of him yet. I also drew my first and so far only tattoo, though neither one is going to be my last. Here's it is..
The quote is from Shakespeare's Julius Cesar. "Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of War." I LOVE the font. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Still! Even though I've had it for two years. Its Papyrus font, in Microsoft Word. It's been touched up since I took that picture, so it looks better, that one was right after it healed completely. I got it the September after my birthday, which is in July. My mother didn't find out for over a year, lol. Even though I was eighteen and SHE has tattoos, she didn't want me to get one. Ah well. Too bad!
It's on my ribcage. Everyone said I was crazy for getting a tattoo on my ribcage, but it didn't hurt nearly as bad as I thought it was going to. Even my tattoo artist said I was a trooper. She tried to talk me out of the placement, but I wanted it there and no where else. Plus, when I show people it, they're always impressed that I could deal with the pain. Especially people who have tattoos, lol.
I also want one on my forearm. The only problem with that is decided WHAT and HOW, since it's a very very difficult place to cover up. People DO judge you, but hopefully I'll one day have a secure enough job, or a understanding enough boss that it won't matter. I don't have a CLUE as to what I want there, it just feels like there SHOULD BE something there. Dunno if anyone else understands that, but that's how it feels to me. Just like my dog ONLY belonged on my ribcage. Meh, I'm weird.
